September 2010 Monthly Horoscope Forecast

This month, within a day or two of your birthday, the sun will return the exact degree it held when you were born. Your Astrological New Year begins now! You’ve probably heard of a yearly horoscope. A yearly horoscope is your Solar Return which begins to take shape three months before your actual birthday. Your solar return chart is packed full of information about what issues will play a leading role in your life in the coming year. It specifies where you will find balance and where your challenges lie. Some of those themes are going on right now! September is an important time for progress, Virgo. You may be questioning your personal needs, desires, or something you are working to achieve. Try not to over-analyze everything you want for yourself. Allow your personality to shine and feel free to express yourself. This is the month when you should focus on your health, happiness, routines and your relationships. Alternatively, it may be necessary for you to put more energy into your career or your goals. Parenting, bosses, your partner’s career, or someone who has authority over you may be significant. In addition, something about your lifestyle could be changing. Your ruler (Mercury) is retrograde in Virgo. This retrograde may result in having to re-evaluate what’s important for achieving your goals, for your health, or for your children. Pets, employment and healthcare may also be important topics in September.
The new moon Sept. 8 in Virgo offers two weeks of fresh energy to begin anew, although the first week following any new moon is the most powerful. This is the only new moon you have this year that is specific to you, Virgo. You may already have something in your life taking shape following this new moon, or something may develop that requires your attention, your creative input, or your expertise. The two weeks following the new moon will allow you time to focus on anything you want to achieve. This new moon may be important for leisure activities with family or for something regarding a child. If your birthday falls within 5 days of Sept. 8, you will notice the effects most.
Mercury is retrograde in your sign so don’t start projects that aren’t well researched. A contract, verbal agreement, transportation matter or an important decision may need to be rethought or renegotiated.
Mercury retrogrades in your 3rd house August 20—Sept. 12. Mercury slows its orbit during this phase so you may notice some confusion. This Mercury retrograde makes no stressful aspects to planets in your solar chart which may be favorable for you. That being said, you could experience some aggravation during this time.
Mercury governs transportation, communication, and all things related to the transfer of information. You can expect these areas to be influenced during Mercury’s retrograde. News becomes confusing, transportation may be delayed or complicated, and ideas are asked to be reconsidered. Make yourself clear, read the fine print and do what you can to avoid miscommunication. Items are often lost during this time, so keep your eye on your valuables and important documents. I’ve lost a credit card during Mercury retrograde and my car keys during another retrograde! This is not a time to make important or expensive purchases. You may not use them or they may be flawed. The store shelves may be full of “not so great deals” now. Computers, phones, mail, fax machines, transportation and/or appliances may be annoying or fail to perform properly.
The weeks of Mercury retrograde might cause delays or obstacles, but it’s the best time for increasing your knowledge and bringing important details to your attention, which could be problematic at a later date.
This is not a time to sign papers or make verbal agreements, unless this is something you’ve already had in the works. Rest, relax, rejuvenate, re-write, re-organize, review, re-do, renew, research and re-evaluate. Allow a few days after Mercury turns direct before you proceed with any new ideas, major purchases, contracts or important decisions.
Venus continues her transit through your 2nd house of income and possessions until Sept. 8. Mars, an action planet, also transits this sector. This could improve your ability to earn more money or to receive a bonus or pay raise. However, you might be spending money now because your tastes are more extravagant. This transit can help to build your self-confidence as well.
On Sept. 8, Venus glides into your 3rd house of local travel, transportation, relating, and relatives. Venus will retrograde in October; as a result Venus will spend the rest of the year in your 3rd sector, Virgo. People will be willing to compromise now because your nature will be kind and gentle. This is an excellent transit for negotiations, meetings, and sharing your opinions with others. Teachers, bosses, bankers, editors, publishers, or attorneys may respond well to your ideas. Your creativity and your intuition could be spot on. Community involvement or entertainment will bring you more joy. Be the one to reach out to friends and family because you will draw peace-loving relationships to yourself.
Mars will also enter your 3rd sector on Sept. 12th. Mars in your communications sector can cause conflicts and disagreements. Use this transit to get your point across, but avoid pushing your ideas on others. Attend to transportation concerns and watch the speed limit carefully!
Pluto moves forward in your 5th house of love, leisure, and children Sept. 13—April 2011. This means that early Virgo’s with birthdays before Aug. 29 will be feeling Pluto’s transformative energy in the months ahead.
If your birthday falls after Aug. 29, you will be influenced most beginning Jan. 2011. However, that’s not to say you won’t be experiencing this heavy hitter planet now or in the coming months. You may have planets in the cardinal signs of your chart that will receive Pluto’s energy. The cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. All of these signs are known as self-starters of the zodiac.
This Pluto transit is trine your Virgo sun in 2010. This angle will be helpful, beneficial, and easier on you than it will be for several of the zodiac signs. That being said, Pluto’s transit may affect you at a deep emotional level. Pluto has the power to change your romantic life. Relationships that aren’t working will end so that new people can come into your life. You creative energies will improve. Pluto may help to uncover the hidden potential in you. You may find it easier to express your talents or you may change your objectives. You could have a baby or adopt one. You might become a grandparent. You could win a contest or lottery!
The sun enters your 3rd house Sept. 22. As a result you will have the next month to learn a new skill, read a new series of books, take a quick trip, or schedule appointments. Late September and the first part of October will be an unusually busy time for you.
The full moon Sept. 23 falls in your 8th house of debts, money you receive from other sources, partner’s income, surgery and deep emotional issues. The full moon will influence Virgo’s born within 5 days of August 24 most.
You or a family member may be traveling far from home which could make this an emotional time for you. A legal agreement may be finalized or a court case may be ending. An employment related contract may change. You could be approved for a loan or money may come to you that you have been expecting from another source. Alternatively, you could receive an unexpected bill! Someone in your home or family may be changing career paths. News about a grandparent or long distance relative could be surprise you. Insurance may be the topic of this full moon for some. The full moon could point to an intimacy issue. Finances may be significant now and you may need to act quickly.
