QUIT SMOKING WITH ASTROLOGY

The method made in Heaven

Stop Smoking this month with the help of the Universe! If you are ready to quit smoking, the most favorable days will be posted each month which will give you the greatest advantage using the planetary energy available. First, I must mention a few issues related to smoking. Your quit smoking with Astrology dates are at the bottom of this page.

Stop smoking using AstrologyIf you have not researched the effects of smoking, please do so now. This will increase your awareness thereby helping you to succeed in your efforts. Go to Google and look up Stop Smoking. The lung cancer images are really scary and seeing them may also help you with your motivation. There are many websites dedicated to helping you to quit and several have message boards and support groups at no cost, check them out.

There are several stop smoking aids available to help you quit, many of which can be purchased without a prescription. You may also want to talk to your Doctor about the latest medication available to assist you in your quit smoking efforts. I know a few people who were successful quitters by using Hypnosis. Whatever it takes for you, try it.

If you have children and do not want them to start smoking, you will decrease the chances of your children becoming smokers by quitting yourself. Children learn what they live. Show them how concerned you are about them by taking care of yourself first.

Getting out of the bed in the morning and deciding to quit usually doesn't work. You must be ready and have a plan of action. Make the decision, plan ahead and set your quit date. Write down the reasons why you want to quit. Every time you light up think about what it is doing to your entire body, not just your lungs. Smell your clothes, your hair, your partner's hair and imagine your life without cigarettes. Think of how your health will improve! Think of how much your breathing will improve. Imagine how nice it would be not having sinus troubles, that junk in your throat in the mornings, no more coughing, getting easily winded and having fresher breath.

The dangers associated with smoking are the same whether you are smoking cigarettes, cigars, or pipes. They also do not vary if you smoke substances other than tobacco. You may be interested to learn that marijuana has far more tar than cigarettes. Most cancer causing substances found in cigarettes are also found in marijuana. To add to the risks, marijuana is inhaled deeply into the lungs and held there for a long time by the user.

Nicotine is a very addictive drug. Research shows nicotine is as addictive as cocaine. More recent studies have discovered that the same tobacco companies that put the warning labels on cigarettes and tell us that they want to help us quit have been lying to us! They want your money; they do not want you to stop smoking!

Over the past six years the amount of nicotine in a cigarette has increased! That's right, if you have been smoking the same brand of cigarettes for 15 years, you are inhaling more nicotine today than when you started smoking. In fact studies have proven that due to this increase in the amount of nicotine in cigarettes, first times smokers have a much harder time quitting. Tobacco companies are ready and waiting for our teenagers to try it just once!

Smoking is not a bad habit, although that is how it all began. You have to get the nicotine out of your body instead of being a slave to it. For those interested in quitting cold turkey, it only takes 72 hours to rid your body of its nicotine. 72 hours! You can do it!

Set your quit date, tell everyone you are quitting, stay away from smokers as much as possible and drink cranberry juice or other liquids to help to detoxify your system. Do things that don't make you think of smoking; take a walk and some get fresh air, help a non-smoker with a project or stay busy so you won't dwell on the thoughts of quitting. If you quit and relapse, quit again.

By using Astrology many people have become successful quitters. There are various methods used by astrologers to help individuals to quit smoking. My method applies to everyone ready to quit smoking forever. No matter which method you use to stop smoking, you must be ready. Nothing will work without your direct involvement. Understand the emotional impact quitting smoking may have on you because of your attachment to cigarettes and establish a support system to help you through. Quit Smoking by the Moon

You must understand that addiction to nicotine is more than a bad habit and accept that you may have some symptoms of withdrawal that could affect you for at least a few days. I cried easily for no apparent reason the first week after I had my last cigarette. I did not really understand what was happening until a few weeks later. Smoking was comforting to me, it was familiar, and it was something I always enjoyed. I always had an excuse for being a heavy smoker for more than 20 years. My withdrawal symptoms were experienced through a sense of loss even though I wanted to be free of cigarettes. Letting go of something that is bad for you is sometimes more difficult than living with it.

Your body will change rapidly after having your last cigarette.

Within 20 minutes your blood pressure and pulse return to normal.
Within 8 hrs the carbon monoxide level in your blood will drop and oxygen levels return to normal.
Within 48 hours your chance of having a heart attack will have decreased.
Within 72 hrs your bronchial tubes relax, you will breathe easier, your energy increases.
Within 2 weeks your circulation will increase and will continue to improve.
Within 3-9 months your lungs clear of tar built up over years of smoking. Breathing problems clear up, lung compacity improves.
In 1 year your risk of having a heart attack is cut in half.
In 5 years your risk of having a stroke returns to that of a non-smoker.
In 10 years your risk of lung cancer will have returned to that of a non-smoker.
In 15 years your risk of heart attack will have returned to that of a non-smoker.

Astrology can provide you with an invaluable tool that you need to be successful no matter how many times you have tried to quit. This time can be the last time!

I use the moons placement and the energy of Saturn to determine the exact dates that will give you the added discipline you will need to become smoke free forever. This method is for anyone who is ready to quit smoking.

When you need to become disciplined, look to the energy of Saturn. Saturn energy is a great guide and teacher. Saturn will reward you for your hard work and efforts. When you decide to quit smoking you will need discipline as much as you need motivation and this is where Saturn will help you.

When determining the best aspects between the Moon and Saturn, the moon should be waning. The waning moon occurs after the Full Moon. As the moon waxes or reaches its fullness our desires increase. When the moon is waning, our desires decrease. The Moon's placement in your birth chart governs your habits, your emotions and your attachments.

The moon governs your emotional connection to your environment and how you feel inside. The moon influences your emotion driven moods and your will to succeed.

The moon must be at an angle to Saturn that provides an easy flow of energy. We want to avoid the days that Saturn and the moon are at hard angles to one another to avoid combative energy between your emotions and your effort to quit smoking. The moon changes signs every 2 ˝ days. Keep in mind that due to the changing cycles, you will not have these exact days to stop smoking next month. Some months there will be more or less dates posted.

By looking at the current transits, you will find the days that Saturn is at the precise angle to help you become a successful quitter. See the Aspects page for the explanation of the angles.

You are not alone in your desire to overcome the addiction of cigarettes:

I did it! Your stop smoking program worked for me! Two months now and no cigarettes! Thank you, Mark Holderman

I have been meaning to write you and thank you for offering this stop smoking method on your website. I tried everything (pills, patches, filters, gum) but I could not stick with any of them. The patches caused me to itch, the pills made me feel sick, and the gum left a bad taste in my mouth. I finally decided to try your program 8/8/2007. I would recommend this method for anyone trying to stop smoking. I think people should at least try this and see if it works for them. It worked for me! Blessings, Catherine 1/3/60

These are just a few emails from the people that allowed the energy and aspects of the heavens to help them stop smoking. Bravo! You can join Gayle, Mark and Catherine and live a healthier nicotine free life.

On October 29, 2009 Saturn, also referred to as “The Task Master”, enters Libra for the first time since Sept. 1980—Aug. 1983. Because of Saturn’s new position in the zodiac, the moon will be changing signs where it aspects Saturn beneficially and harmoniously. Harder aspects between Saturn and the moon are also changing. From 2007-2009 the moon in Cancer was at an easy sextile to Saturn. Now the moon in Cancer will square Saturn’s new position in Libra, which tends to be a more challenging aspect.

Saturn is the planet of discipline, maturity, restriction, limitation, and structure. Saturn helps to promote progress through hard work and diligent effort. Libra is a cardinal sign. The cardinal signs are self starters, initiators, ambitious, and work with a burst of energy. Saturn is exalted in Libra which means it works well in this sign. Libra governs the 7th house of relationships in the natural zodiac. This Saturn transit will be the perfect time for couples to stop smoking together or for you to find a support system of family and friends to help you be successful in your efforts.

I encourage you to stay away from smokers for at least three days (if possible) while you are quitting and cleansing your body of previous cigarette toxins. Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and pleasure. Be sure and reward yourself everyday by doing something you enjoy. It doesn’t have to cost you anything. Hugs are free, a long bath with music soothes the soul, a walk in nature refreshes the spirit, and a peppermint may help to relieve stress and anxiety.

The days to use the Waning Moon and Saturn to your advantage will be posted each month. If you are ready to quit smoking, the likelihood of you successfully quitting is very good, especially on the dates provided. You deserve to be free of nicotine! You deserve a smoke free life! You are worthy, my friend!
