Horoscope Overview
Saturn is still teaching you some tough life lessons about emotional, spiritual, or bureaucratic topics. But your extended family, neighbors, local community, spouse, best friend, and/or business partners are really doing a lot to boost your spirits. They are taking turns connecting nicely with your happiness, playtime, luxuries, and fun sector. You are having a lot of fun for someone that is supposed to be learning about depression and self-doubt. Maybe this month, the point is to show you how much laughter and joy can do to alleviate pessimism and self-destructiveness. Or maybe it is about how when we work to help make others happy, we end up getting some of it on ourselves.

Continuing Trends:
From November 16th through March 23rd, Saturn and Neptune are joining forces on your behalf. Saturn is still in your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucratic, mysteries, and secrets sector trying to teach you life lessons about these topics. And Neptune is still in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, safety and security, retirement circumstances, and “coming home” sector trying to help you to experience a bit of “magic” in these areas of your life. In early February, Neptune will relocate to your personal pleasure, lovers, romance, playtime, hobbies, creative talents, pets, children, sports, leisure, luxury, and happiness sector. Together, Saturn and Neptune combine logic and intuition, practicality and spirituality, critical analysis and compassion in a lovely manner. To begin with, this is a wonderful time for you to bring a sense of compassion, forgiveness, harmony, inner peace, and spirituality into your home. It is also a good time for healing old wounds involving your childhood, parents, or roommates. This is not a gullible forgive and forget dynamic, but more of a practical spirituality, “Does it do you any good to stay stuck in old resentful mindsets?” Later, after Neptune moves into his new location, your children, lovers, pets, hobbies, creative projects, etc could be helping you to feel better about life. Your emotional, spiritual, charitable, and psychological well-being is improved by getting involved in romance, hobbies, playtime, creative pursuits, and/or vacations. You can also use this time to uplift your mood through joyful activities.
From December 11th through February 6th, Jupiter and Saturn are opposing each other. Jupiter has been traveling backwards through your marriage, best friends, business partnerships, rivals, enemies, and competitors (think yin-yang) sector. He is extremely close to the borderline as if he is going to move back into your work and fitness sector, but he will remain in your partnerships and rivalries sector. Saturn is in your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucratic, mysteries, and secrets sector. He has moved very close to the edge as if he is about to enter Scorpio and your “me” sector, but he will remain in your mysteries and hidden forces sector. The opposition is between your “secrets” and your “partnerships/rivals”. A spouse, best friend, business partner, enemy (ex-husband, ex-wife), or business competitor is upset about your attitude, addictions, self-destructiveness, secrecy, or spiritual beliefs. It is also possible that they are upset about bureaucratic red tape and stupid policies. Or it could be the other way around. You could suspect your partner or a rival is keeping secrets, being self-destructive, etc. Saturn causes you to go into a dark, brooding, and pessimistic frame of mind a lot easier than what Jupiter and your partners think you should.
From January 29th through February 3rd, Venus is opposing Mars. Venus is in your personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, hobbies, children, pets, creativity, luxuries, and happiness sector. Mars is in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, group activities, networking, and Internet sector. When these two areas clash, we usually see a battle between team-spirit and “me time”, between friends and lovers, between Internet-activities and spending quality time with loved ones, or between social obligations and your favorite pastimes, etc. It is easy to feel like too many people are pulling on you at the same time. You are too popular, too busy, too needed, etc to be able to relax and have some fun or to spend time with the special people in your life that really matter the most. Do what you can to create balance.
New Developments:
February 3rd Neptune enters Pisces and your fifth house. He will stay here until 2025. In Pisces, Neptune is literally at home. Neptune rules over Pisces and the concepts of mental health, attitudes, addictions, self-destruction, dishonesty, gullibility, emotional well-being, inner peace, intuition, secrets, spiritual mysteries, paranormal activities, charities, hospitals, prisons, corporations, bureaucracies, and other hidden forces that work behind the scenes. Neptune will be stronger here than he has been in a very long time. He will do his best to bring out the loving, compassionate, peaceful, charitable, and magical elements of Pisces. However, there will be times when other planets are clashing with Neptune and he will instead bring deceit, delusion, and bureaucratic red tape into our lives. For Scorpio, Neptune will be in your fifth house of personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, children, pets, hobbies, creative talents, music, theater, the arts, luxury, and happiness. You already approach these topics from an almost spiritual belief system. Helping others, finding inner peace, being a loving and compassionate person towards yourself and others has become just that much easier. You find joy in helping others find joy. You love falling in love with the ideals of humanitarian concepts. You could never be happy at the expense of others. Your love life can be magical and beautiful, but it could also be delusional and so focused on an ideal soulmate that you actually stop yourself from being able to maintain a loving relationship. You could love your children so much that you are blind to their flaws. You could push for fun and playtime to the point that you are addicted or self-destructive. Your heart is pure and your motives are wonderful, but you can have trouble seeing where fantasy and idealism stops and reality begins. This is one of the best areas of the chart to suffer such overwhelming compassion and idealism.
February 7th hosts a full moon in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. Full moons are for grand finales, endings, closure, and “ta-da!” moments. There is nothing negatively affecting this one, so you should be able to accomplish, finalize, and/or complete any professional, leadership, or publicity-oriented goals or projects you might be working on. This is also a good time for retiring, walking away from an old professional path that no longer suits you, and for saying “goodbye” or “I’m done!” to your boss, father, or an authority figure. This should be your moment to shine in the limelight. Try to schedule any big professional grand finales within a day or two of this full moon for maximum benefit. Mercury is helping to add intelligence, business savvy, commitments, and/or communications to this positive ending in your professional life.
From February 7th through the 11th, Venus is traveling with Uranus. These two planets love to have fun and get quirky together. They can create love at first sight, creative genius, delightful flirting, and wonderful charm. For you, they are in your daily work, coworkers, to-do lists, chores, productivity, physical fitness, and feeling useful sector. Together, they can bring more charm, sex appeal, friendly compassion, and delightful social skills into your work and fitness related activities. They could work together to boost your mood and help you feel flirty and fun towards yourself and others. You could also find yourself enjoying some unexpected financial brainstorming ideas.
From February 11th through the 14th, Mercury is traveling with Neptune. As mentioned before, Neptune has recently changed locations and is still working well with Saturn. Mercury and Neptune are creating positive energy in your personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, children, pets, hobbies, creative talents, music, theater, the arts, luxury, and happiness sector. Saturn is still in your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucratic, mysteries, and secrets sector. Your children, lovers, pets, hobbies, creative projects, etc could be helping you to feel better about life. Your emotional, spiritual, charitable, and psychological well-being is improved by getting involved in romance, hobbies, playtime, creative pursuits, and/or vacations. You can also use this time to uplift your mood through joyful activities.
From February 13th through the 17th, Venus and Pluto are not getting along very well. Venus is in your work sector. Pluto is in your communications, commerce, and local community sector. Office gossip, misunderstandings, miscommunications, crashing computers, faulty telecommunication devices, daily commutes, local transportation, ineffective sales presentations, and/or tough contract negotiations are causing a drop in productivity levels for you and your coworkers.
From February 15th through the 16th, Mercury and Jupiter are creating a bit of good luck, business savvy, and fun. Mercury is still in your playtime sector. Jupiter is still in your partnerships sector. Together, they help you and a spouse to enjoy romantic date nights, playtime with the children, hobbies, sports, and/or vacations together. Best friends could also find this is a good time to goof off together. Business partnerships involving happiness-oriented industries (music, theatre, fine dining, child care, pet shops, sports, hobbies, luxury sales, etc) could find that this is an excellent time for sales, contract negotiations, and advertising campaigns. You could even use this time for peace talks with your rivals.
From February 15th through the 21st, the sun steps into the same location where Mercury used to be when he was helping Neptune and Saturn. Once again, you are able to bring more spirituality, harmony, emotional well-being, creativity, romance, and playtime into your private life.
From February 16th through April 1st, Jupiter and Pluto are working together in a strong and powerful manner. These are two of the Titans of the Zodiac. When they fight, it is awful and when they cooperate with one another, we are all blessed. Pluto rules over trust and sharing; this includes fidelity and various forms of profit sharing. Jupiter rules over knowledge, luck, and global awareness among other things. Pluto is in professional, responsible, and civic-minded Capricorn. Jupiter is in frugal, cautious, and reliable Taurus. They were part of the big ugly planetary mess back in 2009 and 2010 that made it so hard for us to deal with political, cultural, economic, social, corporate, and governmental challenges. Four of the five big planets were involved. These are the first two to begin playing nice together. Globally, we should see strong, smart, cautious economic growth finally begin to take hold. Politically and culturally, people could feel a bit conservative and cautious. That does not necessarily mean they will vote for their country’s “conservative party” but that they will be very mindful of who really does have our long-term financial and economic security in mind. We will not want our leaders making foolish or risky choices. We will look towards companies, governments, and other employers to pay an honest wage for an honest day’s work. That might seem like a no-brainer, but it has been missing from our political leaders for too long. For Scorpio, your marriage, best friends, business partnerships, rivals, enemies, and competitors (think yin-yang) sector is getting along quite nicely with local community, commercial activities, and interpersonal communications sector. This is a great time for business deals, contract negotiations, and commercial activities involving business partnerships. Pluto adds profits and Jupiter adds good luck and prosperity. It is also a passionate time for lovers to make commitments to each other and to spend time with each other’s families and communities. Best friends could enjoy running errands together, shopping, and getting involved in community outreach projects. If you are single and looking for romantic, social, or business partner, ask relatives, neighbors, and local community members to introduce you to interesting new people. This could also be a good time to open up communications between you and a rival or competitor.
From February 17th through the 18th, Mercury is also working with Pluto. Mercury is in your playtime, romance, luxuries, and happiness sector helping you and your partners and community members to have fun together. He can also help with contract negotiations, bargain hunting, and sales finesse involving luxury items, concert tickets, vacation packages, amusement parks, etc.
February 21st hosts a new moon in your personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, children, pets, hobbies, creativity, luxuries, and happiness sector. New moons are for beginnings, conceptions, fresh starts, launchings, etc. This new beginning in your social life is tied up in the positive energies between Neptune and Saturn. New moons in the happiness sector promote new lovers, babies, pets, hobbies, creative projects, and new luxury items. They can also bring new jobs within these types of industries, new goals involving these types of things (like learning a new sport or deciding to adopt a child). With Saturn and Neptune’s involvement, you could find that this happy new beginning, project, activity, or job in your life is bringing you a great deal of emotional or spiritual joy as well.
From February 21st through the 24th, Mercury is opposing Mars. Mercury is still in your personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, hobbies, children, pets, creativity, luxuries, and happiness sector. Mars is still in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, group activities, networking, and Internet sector. When these two areas clash, we usually see a battle between team-spirit and “me time”, between friends and lovers, between Internet-activities and spending quality time with loved ones, or between social obligations and your favorite pastimes, etc. It is easy to feel as if too many people are pulling on you at the same time. You are too popular, too busy, too needed, etc to be able to relax and have some fun or to spend time with the special people in your life that really matter most. With Mercury and Mars involved, this is a smart and passionate debate.
From February 23rd through the 26th, the sun takes his turn working with Jupiter the same way that Venus and Mercury already have. Once again, you and a spouse, best friend, or business partner are encouraged to have fun, play, enjoy each other’s company, purchase luxury items, go to concerts, laugh, dance, sing, etc. And business partners involved in these happiness-industries could find this is another wave of positive professional energy.
From February 26th through the 29th, the sun shifts focus and begins working with Pluto to help you blend your community playtime activities with your partnership playtime activities. Mix neighbors, extended family, lovers, best friends, business partners, etc all together for local gatherings. Business partners could find this is a great time for local advertising and for using fun community involvement activities (like sponsoring a children’s softball team, sponsoring a local charity event, etc) helps to build good will and positive business relationships within the community.
From February 29th through March 5th, the sun opposes Mars the same way that Venus and Mercury did. Once again, you are dealing with a battle between team-spirit and “me time”, between friends and lovers, between Internet-activities and spending quality time with loved ones, or between social obligations and your favorite pastimes, etc.
From February 29th through March 6th, Venus is opposing Saturn. Venus is in your physical health, work, and productivity sector. Saturn is in your mental health, spirituality, and bureaucracies sector. You could be dealing with battles between mental health and physical health, bureaucracy and productivity, intuition and logic, spirituality and practicality. As much as someone is trying to be compassionate, diplomatic, and helpful, someone else is being stubborn, pessimistic, and hardnosed about it. Do what you can to create balance between the two.
