February’s stars point to your domestic scene, Scorpio. Something about your home or family will play an important role this month. Venus, love and money, transit this sector through Feb. 11 and increases your desire to have a harmonious home life. This month you may want to improve your surroundings by adding something lovely to your home. Alternatively, you may spend time decorating or finances may be affected due to real estate issues.
As planets gather in your home sector, they square your sun which could prove challenging. Feb. 5—6 can bring power struggles with family or your significant other. With Pluto now positioned in your 3rd house of relating, tempers could flare. This type of energy could bring hurt feelings to the surface. Those born in October will feel this energy most. Alternatively, projects or agreements could be finalized and lift a huge weight off of you and/or your family. Some Scorpios may be busy with children, hobbies, friends or extended family which could cause responsibilities in the home to increase.
Mars continues to back-track through your career, status and reputation sector. If you’re looking for a debate, you’ll probably find one on the 14th as someone is argumentative. Property or work related issues could stall or may be revised. Due to some unforeseen complications, computers, appliances, or technical equipment may be troublesome or costly.
The new moon Valentine’s Day or depending on your location (Feb. 13), also falls in your 4th house of home and family. This new moon offers you two weeks of fresh starts to connect with loved ones, begin home projects, look for a new home or put your home on the market. Your attitude will improve now as planets begin to move into your pleasure sector.
On Valentine’s Day the mood changes quickly from home and family matters to feeling sensitive, loving, and generous via the combination of the moon, Venus, Jupiter conjunction. Forgiveness and compassion can transform your thinking and your relationships, Scorpio.
Venus, your love and money planet enters your 5th house of love Feb. 11. The sun enters this light-hearted area of your chart on Feb. 18. Your daily life changes now as you focus your energy on creative projects, children, entertainment, the arts, and romance. There may be vacations, parties, celebrations, and romantic dates in store for you. This will be an important transit to connect with your children or allow yourself to feel like a child again.
The full moon Feb. 28 occurs in your 11th house of groups, networking, extended family, and friendships. You may reach a goal you’ve set for yourself or you might receive some well deserved recognition for your talents. On the other hand, a friendship could sour or romance could get complicated. Reach out to friends for support.

January 2010 monthly horoscope.
January begins under the influence of the Dec. 31, 2009 Lunar Eclipse at 10° Cancer. This eclipse energy will be felt the first week of January most. You will find your December eclipse forecast below your January horoscope.
This month you’ll have an abundance of planets influencing your 3rd house of communications, ideas, transportation, siblings, relatives, and local travel. Whatever develops in January could stick around all year or well into the future.
You’ve got a busy month ahead, Scorpio. You can expect to be on the phone more, handling more paperwork, and scheduling appointments. This could be a month packed full with errands, meetings, or short trips. There is the possibility of transportation issues surfacing, especially with Mercury Retrograde in this sector until Jan. 15. Contracts and agreements will be important, although there could be delays or complications.
The 3rd house is also the area of your chart that governs ideas. If you work in a creative field such as writing, music, design, or the arts, this month your creative energies are heightened. Learning and teaching are also favored now.
Improve on your communication skills, listen to other people, and present your ideas. In your relationships you may be more cautious and reserved, though you could be active in your community or with neighbors. Make your intentions clear so that no one is left second-guessing you.
Your relationships will siblings may be more agreeable. You will avoid serious subject matters and enjoy communicating just for the pleasure of conversation. Should you choose to travel close to home, you will choose places of beauty or places related to art, music, entertainment, or romantic locations. This transit is about the beauty of relating through sharing ideas and expressing yourself. Make your proposal now because people are more willing to listen to what you have to offer.
Saturn retrogrades in Libra Jan. 13 backtracking to 28° Virgo over the next four months. Saturn stations direct May 30 and will not re-enter Virgo for 26 more years! This retrograde may take you back over recent lessons, setbacks, or experiences influencing you since October 2009. Those born at the beginning or end of their signs will notice this retrograde most.
Scorpio, this transit and retrograde through your 12th house is one of letting go of the things that no longer serve you—which could include people, habits, or psychological issues. Once you finish this transit you will move into a new cycle of experience. Some of what you release will help you with your career or goals. You may learn to be more compassionate or understanding of other people’s problems. You might spend more time alone to renew your spirit because of your job, or due to other circumstances in your life. It sometimes causes worry, depression, fear, caution, and feelings of isolation. It’s not uncommon to feel inadequate or guilty about the circumstances that haven’t worked out over the last few years. Just don’t give in to any negative voice in your head. Take proactive measures regarding your health as this transit can cause some health issues. Wear good shoes to avoid problems with your feet.
The powerful new moon of January 15 is a solar eclipse. The eclipse occurs at 25° Capricorn and is part of Saros series 141. The last eclipse in this series took place Jan. 4, 1992. Eclipses of the same series are woven together with similar energy. Something similar to what you experienced back in 1992 may become significant again, although solar eclipses can remain active for up to three and a half years. You may not be old enough to remember the 1992 series of eclipses. We did have an eclipse at 24° Capricorn July 16, 2000; however, that was a lunar eclipse, therefore your experiences in 2000 may have brought closure to a part of your life.
You may experience this eclipse within a month to the day of the eclipse, immediately, or the eclipse point could be activated by future transits, particularly when Mars squares the eclipse degree the third week of August 2010. All eclipses, solar and lunar, do have the potential to create a crisis in our lives before we can begin anew.
The ruler of this eclipse is Venus because she is the closet planet to this new moon. Relationships, harmony, and finances will be an underlying theme, although not necessarily the absolute eclipse message for you. This is a powerful new moon that will create a new opportunity and a new era for those influenced by this eclipse.
Scorpio, this solar eclipse falls in your 3rd house of communications, thinking and ideas, transportation, local travel, and relatives. If your birthday falls within four days of Nov. 17, you will be influenced most. Uranus, the great awakener, is at a helpful angle for you from your 5th house of romance, children, and creativity.
An eclipse in your 3rd house may send you back to the classroom or you may be eager to learn something new. Your creative mind, critical thinking, or problem solving abilities may be improved upon. The eclipse could change how you communicate, write, or exchange ideas. You might begin using advanced or new technology in your work or daily life. If you’ve been stuck in a certain way of thinking, this eclipse could change your views.
Frequent short trips may be on your agenda in the months ahead. These trips may concern family members, could be work related, due to a new schedule, or because you are more active within your local community. The first half of the year will be especially busy for you. It’s possible for some that romance, dating, or socializing will add to your busy schedule.
Contracts or agreements may begin because of this eclipse. These contracts could concern career, family, property, or domestic arrangements. Your partner’s career or income could be influenced. Perhaps they are working or traveling more, therefore you’ll have more responsibilities on you.
This eclipse could change the circumstances for your child. Your child may be starting school, spending more time with you, could move away, or may be starting a new chapter in his/her life. The eclipse message could also concern your child’s relationship status.
You could get a new car, your license, start a carpool, or begin using public transportation.
Jupiter will change signs and enter Pisces on Jan. 17, 2010. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, growth, blessings, abundance, optimism, opportunity, and excess. Jupiter has not transited Pisces since Feb. 1998. Jupiter is Pisces co-ruler so it works well in this sign. Jupiter is considered a lucky planet to have transiting your horoscope and it can be—as long as it makes positive aspects to planets in your birth chart.
Jupiter’s average motion is one year through each sign or house in your chart. It takes an average 12 years to transit the zodiac, touching on every area of your life. Every twelve years from the time you were born you will have a Jupiter return. During your Jupiter Return you will have the opportunity to grow and expand on the area in your life that you find valuable. This transit stimulates growth so that you can become a better version of yourself.
Jupiter may bestow greater opportunities this year or you may feel like you’re waiting for the Universe to drop a big gift in your lap. The key is to recognize new opportunities and take the initiative when they are presented to you. This transit could certainly bless you by expanding or adding to your fortune, especially if Jupiter aspects important planets in your chart.
Sometimes we get too much of a good thing through Jupiter, which may not be healthy or wise for us. Jupiter is the planet of knowledge gained through travel, education, spirituality, and the justice system. Wherever Jupiter transits in your personal chart, you can be assured that you will learn something new about yourself and the world around you.
Scorpio, Jupiter will transit your 5th house of love, pleasure, creativity, and children. Single Scorpios have the best chance of finding true love during this transit. You could meet someone from a foreign country or a different background, through the internet or far from home. In fact, you could meet more than one person as several options may be available to you! You may travel more now because of a lover or they could come to you. This Jupiter transit trines your sun which is the perfect angle for bringing new love into your life. This transit could bring more parties, vacations, dating, and/or entertainment for you. Investments may pay higher dividends this year.
Jupiter may expand your creativity through creative visualization or artistic expression. Writers, designers, hobbyists, and those involved in the arts may have more opportunities to show your work. You might study or teach art, music, design, or writing. This could increase your income or put a notch on your resume. You could be published or land a fabulous assignment. This year may be your chance to show the world your talents!
This Jupiter transit may relate to your children. A child could receive a scholarship, an award, or may travel far from home. Your child may be starting college, getting married, or having a baby. There is also the chance that you could have a baby or adopt a child.
January 18 Venus enters your 4th house and the sun follows her on Jan. 19. The next four weeks will turn your attention to your home, family and property. This may be an important time for you to redecorate or spruce up your surroundings. You’ll enjoy the comforts of home and you won’t have to go far for romance. Family relationships will improve. If you have had any stress at home or within your family, this transit will help to smooth out the rough spots.
The month ends with a full moon at 10° Leo on Jan. 30, in your 10th house of career, reputation, authority figures, status, and goals. If your birthday falls within 5 days of Nov. 3, you will be marked by the full moon more than others.
This career full moon suggests that an element of your career may be ending now or something about work will come to a climax. This full moon may bring closure of an important contract or project, or it could be the end of some late nights at work. For stay-at-home moms, this full moon may spotlight your husband’s career and/or a family situation. What you hear might concern the health or employment of your partner or a parent. Money or relationships could be a topic now. Mars, an action oriented planet, is conjunct this full moon. This can cause hasty decisions, debates, disagreements with co-workers, or toss a surprise element into your plans.
