November 2009 Monthly Horoscope Forecast

SAGITTARIUS

Nov. 23rd - Dec. 21st

Synopsis:
Your home becomes your oasis as neighbors, extended family, and others in your community continue creating all kinds of drama. Despite the uproar, you are able to enjoy financial, professional, and social success at various times and you are able to work through psychological issues that could have been holding you back.

Extended Horoscope

Continuing Trends:
From October 11th through March 9th, Saturn and Pluto clash. This is that same battle that the sun and Mercury triggered. This time, it is bigger, uglier, and far more important. Saturn is leaving your “success” sector and moving into your “social networking” sector. From this new location, he is trying to teach you some life lessons about your social skills, how you interact as part of a team, club, committee, etc, or the life lessons could be about the Internet. Pluto is trying to add personal power, enlightenment, profits, and sex appeal to your personal finances and your sense of self-worth. With these two titans clashing, you could find your social life and your finances are in a major upheaval. It could be website promotions, membership dues, etc. If you join a team, club, or association and become “one of the gang”, you could find that you are not paid your fair share or you feel like you are working for a lot less than you deserve. Or the inability to get hired by a group could have a harsh effect on your self-confidence. This is the first of Saturn’s “social networking” life lessons. Still, it should be less troublesome than Saturn’s travels through your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and success sector over the last few years.

From October 24th through November 4th, the sun and Mars are clashing. Mars is in your legal, political, religious, cultural, academic, and travel sector. The sun is in your mental health, attitudes, intuition, spiritual mysteries, secrets, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector. When these two sectors clash, we often see problems involving a “know it all” being pushy and trying to shove their beliefs, opinions, rules, and/or knowledge on you when you want to have a more open-minded, spiritual, and/or intuitive outlook towards such things. You could also experience problems with travel visas, international governments, foreign corporations, and/or a debate between religious dogma and spiritual intuitiveness.

From October 29th through April 8th, Saturn leaves Virgo and your tenth house to enter Libra and your eleventh house. He will backtrack and revisit Virgo and your tenth house from April 8th through July 20th. After that, he will stay in Libra and your eleventh house for the next couple of years. For Sagittarius, hosting Saturn in your eleventh house of friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, connectivity, and the Internet can be rather stressful. You are by nature, a social and outgoing person. You are capable of working alone or in pairs, but you really enjoy being around others. Having Saturn teach you “life lessons” by challenging this area of your life can be hard on you. Saturn’s goal is to make you a better friend, teammate, and colleague. He is also working to teach you a thing or two about whom you chose as friends and associates and why that matters. Saturn cares deeply about things like honor, loyalty, and dependability, so do not be surprised if these are the topics he focuses on while traveling through your social life.

From October 31st through November 5th, Venus begins working with Neptune. Together, these two like to create romance, love, compassion, charities, and the fine arts. They are dreamy, sexy, and into a spiritual mystical kind of romance. Financially, they create a generous, intuitive, and/or philanthropic approach to wealth. They are currently blending your social networking sector and your communications, commerce, and community sector. This is a lovely energy for teamwork, community outreach, social gatherings, expanding your social circles, and giving a website a pretty makeover.

New Developments:
November 2nd hosts a full moon in your daily work, coworkers, to-do lists, productivity, chores, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector. Full moons are for endings, closure, and grand finales. This one is harshly affected by Mars in your cultural, political, religious, academic, philosophical, media, and travel sector. And Mercury is teaming up with the sun. Lies, miscommunications, language barriers, religious differences, political debates, bigotry, legal problems creating more bureaucracy, and/or troublesome business travel are negatively affecting this ending in your work sector. You could quit a job that you hate, complete a major project under duress, say goodbye to a coworker, or give up on a fitness goal because of emotional dramas. You can still accomplish whatever it is you have set out to do, but the going will be tough and it will be difficult not to give up and quit. Do not worry too much about any setbacks that occur at this time. In late February, you will have a full moon in your professional goals and aspirations sector that will be quite nice. So, adjust your business plans accordingly.

From November 7th through the 10th, Venus takes her turn working with Pluto to bring financial and personal growth opportunities into your life. Venus is entering your mental health, spiritual mysteries, intuition, secrets, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector. She will be trying to bless this area of your life with more love, compassion, and profits. Pluto is still in your personal wealth and self-worth sector trying to bring more psychological healing and profits into this area of your life. Venus and Pluto rule over all forms of wealth and seduction. Therefore, they work well together when trying to bring financial growth into your life. Since Venus is in your mental health sector and Pluto is in your self-worth sector, they can also help you to build self-confidence.

From November 7th through the 13th, the sun is in your mental health, attitudes, self-destruction, addictions, deception, intuition, spiritual mysteries, secrets, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector and is clashing with Jupiter in your interpersonal communications, commercial activities, and local community sector. Local gossip, dysfunctional family members, drunken neighbors, sick relatives, and/or “skeletons in the closet” are causing an uproar in your life. It could be you that everyone is talking about or it could be you that they are all turning to you for solutions. Either way, you are feeling a bit frazzled by it all. If your family and community are safe and relatively healthy, then you could find that business negotiations concerning bureaucracies are the problem. Until the 9th, Mercury will be adding an argumentative energy to this problem.

From November 9th through the 13th, Mercury and Uranus are working quite nicely together. These are the two planets in charge of genius, intellect, independence, and spontaneity. They are combining your mental health, intuition, spiritual mysteries, secrets, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector with your real estate, housing, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement circumstances, and “coming home” sector together in a smart, fun, and charming way. This is an excellent time for creating your own little sanctuary, healing old issues from your childhood, forgiving your parents, planning your retirement, negotiating and signing mortgages and rental contracts, and/or for anything else that blends your “home” and your emotional well-being together in a positive manner. The sun, Venus, and eventually Mars still have to pass through here, so you will have more of this lovely energy in the future. With Mercury, you can begin the planning, negotiations, and goal setting portion of any “home” related goals you might have.

From November 10th through the 13th, Mercury begins battling Neptune the same way he just did with Jupiter. This is more of that same battle about local gossip, tough contract negotiations, writing projects, community issues, sick relatives, and/or dysfunctional relationships causing you a great deal of sadness, depression, anxiety, and/or a desire to escape from reality. You are too logical to run away and hide, but the thought it quite tempting. When Mercury and Neptune battle, we often find lies, deceit, gullibility, negative self-talk, escapism, and/or hidden agendas are a key factor in the drama that unfolds. This is not a good time for any types of negotiations or for committing yourself to anything. Things are not as they seem.

From November 11th through the 18th, the sun begins working with Uranus the same way Mercury is. This prolongs your ability to blend “peace of mind” and “home” energies in a positive and fun way. Your home life could feel like a lovely oasis in an otherwise stressful time.

From November 13th through the 18th, the sun battles with Neptune the way that Mercury just did. Dysfunctional relationships, dishonest or addicted relatives, drunken neighbors, gossiping community members, and/or tough writing projects, contract negotiations, or sales related activities are all possible causes of emotional stress in your life.

November 16th hosts a new moon in your mental health, addictions, escapism, self-destruction, intuition, paranormal activity, spiritual mysteries, secrets, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces” sector. This is a great time for launching new beginnings and fresh starts in this area of your life. This is a great time for new attitudes, new spiritual outlooks, and/or any other new beginning that helps you to feel stronger and more at peace with life. If you have any self-destructive habits (like smoking, drinking too much, etc), this is an excellent time for enrolling in addiction recovery and other forms of therapy. New jobs involving charities, hospitals, prisons, government agencies, and other bureaucracies could be involved. Neptune is still clashing with the sun and causing negotiations, gossip, communications, and/or community issues to shadow this fresh start in your “inner peace” sector. However, Uranus is still working wonderfully with the sun and encouraging you to heal old emotional wounds, forgive your parents, and create your own little oasis within your home. Therefore, even if your community is not very supportive of your new beginning, your parents or your “home” is a great source of ideas and emotional support.

From November 16th through the 18th, Mercury is working with Saturn. Saturn and Pluto are in a major battle causing your personal wealth sector and your social networking sector to clash. A few weeks ago, Mercury was working with Pluto trying to help you with financial growth. Now, Mercury is trying to inspire Saturn. Mercury is in your “me” sector. This is a great time for romantic, professional, and social networking activities. You are able to make good choices about whom you choose to team with professionally and socially. You could also enjoy spending time with long-time friends. If you have been arguing or if any hard feelings remain over something you have said in the past, this is a good time for you to talk things through and to resolve the matter.

From November 16th through the 22nd, Venus and Mars are not getting along. These are the cosmic lovers of the universe, so when they fight it can be like an old married couple. Mars is still in your cultural, religious, political, legal, philosophical, academic, media, and travel sector and Venus is still in your mental health, spiritual mysteries, and bureaucracies sector. The sun and Mercury have already passed through here and battled with Mars. Once again, you could be dealing with governmental, political, religious, or academic bureaucracy. Travel visas, legal or academic rulings, and/or political roadblocks could be causing you some trouble. However, most of the time when these two sectors clash, we see a religious dogma versus spiritual intuition debate, a “rule maker” versus “compassion” debate, or some other form of a “know it all” versus an “intuitive”. It is hard to say which role you are playing this time, but you do enjoy a good debate now and then, so try to keep it friendly and try not to let things get too personal.

From November 21st through the 26th, Venus and Jupiter are recreating the self-destruction, addictions, gossiping, exaggerating, and/or bureaucratic issues that have been plaguing your communications, writing, and ability to get along with people in your local community (or hometown). Drunken neighbors, addicted relatives, dysfunctional relationships, bureaucratic contract negotiations, writer’s block, etc are all possible sources of stress in your life. This is the last planet to pass through here, so this drama is almost over. Venus just has to battle Neptune and then the drama will finally quiet down.

From November 23rd through the 26th, the sun and Saturn get along quite nicely. Like Mercury a few days ago, the sun is helping to get along nicely with friends, teammates, committee members, associates, and other groups of people. This is another good opportunity for social, romantic, and especially professional networking.

From November 23rd through the 28th, Venus and Uranus work together to create more of that delightful energy blending your “inner peace” and “home” sectors together. Once again, you could find yourself making changes in your home life that bring about more spirituality, emotional healing, forgiveness, and peace of mind into your private life. Your parents or roommates could play a positive role in this dynamic.

From November 23rd through the 29th, Mercury and Mars are getting along wonderfully. Mars is working hard to boost your cultural, political, legal, religious, philosophical, academic, media, and travel sector and Mercury is in your “me” sector. This is a great time for holiday travel, negotiating legal matters, taking college classes, enjoying friendly religious or political debates, and for embarking on various literal and figurative “journeys”. Exploring various religions, cultures, languages, and belief systems could be quite entertaining at this time.

From November 25th through the 29th, Venus battles Neptune. Once again, lies, deceit, manipulation, and/or secret agendas could be the cause of problems within your community. Dysfunctional relationships, addictions, drunkenness, hospitalized relatives, local gossip, and bureaucratic contract negotiations are all possible. Luckily, this is the last planet to pass through here so this reoccurring problem should finally work itself out.

From November 27th through December 17th, Mars opposes Jupiter. Last summer, Mercury, the sun, and Venus passed through here and created an ugly opposition between your long-distance travel, multicultural teachings, languages, religions, laws, politics, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness sector and your local travel, local people, elementary education, interpersonal communications, commerce, and small town thinking sector. Mars is just now getting ready to catch up and will re-trigger various events that you have already dealt with in the past. First, he opposes Jupiter (and then Neptune). This creates a closed-minded versus open-minded, global versus local, and/or staying home versus traveling battle. All forms of communications, travel, academics, commerce, and legal agreements are challenged at this time.

From November 28th through the 30th, Mercury begins working with Jupiter. Mercury and Mars are already getting along blending your “me” and “cultural, travel, and foreigners” sectors together in a smart and productive manner. Now, Mercury is also working with Jupiter in your communications, commerce, and local community sector to add more compromise, negotiations, and intelligence to the issues. You are able to play a diplomatic role, to negotiate with both sides, and/or to come up with creative ways to make the best of the situation.

From November 30th through December 2nd, Mercury moves on to work with Neptune. This is more of the “me” sector blending nicely with the “communications, commerce, and community” sector. With Jupiter, it was about “abundance and prosperity” but with Neptune, the focus changes to more intuition, gut instincts, charity, and philanthropy. You could use this time to smooth over the negative issues that occurred when gossip, deceit, self-destruction, and dysfunctional family relationships were causing all kinds of problems. This is a lovely energy for healing wounds, getting people to talk to each other, and for finding it in your heart to either help them or forgive them.

October 2009 Horoscope

Your monthly horoscope follows this main text for all signs.

For the last two and a half years we have all been asked to adapt to new situations in some area of our lives as Saturn transited Virgo. This transit began in Sept. 2007. We have all had to establish more order; schedules have been influenced, along with employment and/or health care issues that have been in the spotlight for many. Serving something or someone other than ourselves meant we had to remain flexible in the face of change. Adjusting to new circumstances may have been challenging, worrisome, or burdensome as Saturn tested our strengths and weaknesses.

This month will set the stage for a new trend which we will all experience at some level. On Oct. 29, 2009, Saturn, the “Taskmaster”, the planet of old age (Father Time), hard work, and determined effort will enter Libra for the first time since Sept. 1980—Aug. 1983. Think back, if you’re old enough, to what significant events happened in your life during those years because similar themes may develop during this transit.

Saturn will retrograde at 4° Libra on Jan. 13, 2010, and re-enter Virgo in April 2010. During the retrograde phase, Saturn will remind you of the commitments and decisions you are making right now. Saturn will station direct at 28° Virgo May 30, 2010, finishing up its final trek through Virgo on July 21of next year and will not re-enter Virgo again until 2036. From October through January 2010 we will get a hint of what this Saturn in Libra transit will be like, especially for those that have planets 0-5 degrees in their charts.

The Cardinal signs, or people with planets 0-5 degrees in Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, will experience Saturn almost immediately. In addition, the Cancer/Capricorn eclipse in December and the eclipses next year will influence these signs so there are sure to be dramatic changes for the Cardinal signs and for those with planets within them.

Saturn’s transit through Libra until Oct. 2012 will give each of us enough time to grow from this planets influence. Saturn is exalted in Libra, meaning Saturn holds Libra in high regard and works well in this sign. Libra is a relationship sign; a sign concerned with equality, fairness, justice, and beauty. Creating balance in our relationships will be of fundamental importance, as will how we relate to others. We will learn to compromise, weigh both sides of the coin, and treat others as we want to be treated.

There will be challenges on the way where we are held responsible for our actions, or we will weed out what doesn’t promote progress in our lives and in our relationships. All relationships will be influenced, from marriage and family, those who you do business with on a daily basis, and to those that oppose you. Relationships are our reflections—what we give out, we receive in return. Saturn will remind you of that fact. Saturn will ask you to accept certain boundaries and when you do this graciously, you will be compensated. Saturn always leaves you a gift after it leaves a sign. Usually that gift is one of strength and stability because Saturn’s job always builds a firm foundation in the area it is transiting. Sometimes the reward hits you like a revelation when you look back on the last 2 ½ years because Saturn’s lessons are always slow, and always deliberate.

Sagittarius,

As October starts off, you have three planets transiting your 10th house of career, ambitions, reputation, and status. If you are born after December 15, you might be feeling overwhelmed by your responsibilities. Your role as a parent or your own parents may place demands on your time or you may be ready to break out of a negative situation. You could be juggling home and career responsibilities. Some Sags will be retiring now, while others have been separated from employment through no fault of their own. Yours or your partner’s career may be shifting which could influence income and your domestic situation. The focus on your career, reputation, and achievements will subside as you spend time with friends or groups.

Full moon in Aries on Oct. 4 falls in your 5th house of romance, creativity, and children. If your birthday falls within 5 days of Dec. 3, this full moon will influence you more than others in your sign. This lunation may find you at a social event, such as a party, baby shower, or the wedding of a friend. The full moon may influence your romantic life. Conversations could get heated, or a romantic relationship could progress to a serious commitment now. This full moon may point to a creative endeavor, a hobby, design work, a contest, or a writing assignment. Children may be an important topic now. Pregnancy, finances for kids, surgeries, or child care issues may develop.

Mercury enters your 11th house on Oct. 9/10 and Venus follows Oct. 14th. Your social life will be highlighted for most of October. You seem ready to take your place in a group setting now. Friends, groups, and extended family support your interests and may play a helpful role for you achieving your fondest wishes. Open up the lines of communication or take a quick trip with a friend. You could be honored on the job or for your role in a charity or community.

Mars enters your 9th house of long distance travel, education, publishing, and your beliefs on Oct. 16 for an unusually long transit. Mars will transit Leo until June 6, 2010—almost 8 months! This transit suggests that any or all of these topics will be emphasized for you in the coming months.

This is an excellent transit for learning because you will have the drive to complete assignments. The down side is that professors can be more demanding and may expect you to produce more than you normally do. This transit will motivate you if you’re getting training in any field. You will enjoy challenges of the mind and exchanging information with people that have a very different background than your own. You may even decide to visit a foreign country. If you have been involved in any legal matter, this transit can bring some challenges. Legal issues may concern child support issues, medical insurance for a child, or an inheritance for a child. Writers, designers, those involved in the creative arts—you may have just found your muse!

The new moon Oct. 18 falls in your 11th house of friendships, goals, hopes and wishes. Sagittarians born within 5 days of Dec. 17 will notice this influence most. This new moon will open a two week window of opportunity to socialize, make a new friend, or begin a new endeavor. This may include signing a contract, travel for family, commissions or bonuses, and recognition for your achievements. You could participate in a community effort or charity event.

The sun enters your 12th house of rest, spirituality, hospitals, and endings Oct. 23 and Mercury follows Oct. 28. The month before your birthday is always a time to reflect on the past year, forget any failures, focus on your successes, and get adequate rest. This would be a good time to have an annual physical, to meditate, sign up for yoga, or use some other relaxation techniques. Next month, right around your birthday, you will have your solar return, when the sun returns to your sign and you officially begin your new astrological cycle.

Saturn enters Libra, your solar 11th house of groups, friends, and aspirations on Oct. 29. You’ve just completed a Saturn transit of your 10th house of career and status. That transit helped you to make strides in your career, in your marriage, or within your family. It helped to secure your position in society, as a parent, banker, lawyer, or a cocktail waitress—whatever your title.

Now Saturn asks you to go out and participate with your peers in a group setting and cooperate for the greater good of the team. If you meet up with opposition, you may feel like people are trying to get in your way. Sometimes your co-workers become the opposition during this transit. The key to this transit is learning to work effectively within a group or organization; it’s not about recognition for your own merits. If you try to be your own star, you will be disappointed and you won’t experience the real benefits of this transit. If you do work effectively within a group, you will be rewarded because the 11th house is where you are recognized for your efforts and your aspirations are met.

You may experience this transit in your friendships. Friends that share your visions will probably stay around, but there are times that friend’s move away or they leave your circle because their lives are changing.

Saturn does bring feelings of isolation and the feeling that other people may not understand you. This heavy planet can make working with others more challenging and can show you who your true friends are. This is the house of hopes and wishes, so if you handle this transit well, you will be rewarded.

Enjoy your month!

September 2009 Monthly Horoscope

September will be a memorable month with many details and strategic scheduling to adhere to. This month your professional life, your personal achievements, and your reputation will shine. When the sun transits your 10th house (as you have now), you have the ability to gain recognition in your career or within your community. Your peers may look to you for support because of your leadership ability. Dress to impress this month, Sagittarius.

Other themes that may be relevant are persons in positions of authority, such as a parent, teachers, bosses, or an important man in your life. In astrology, the sun governs male figures.

The full moon Sept. 4 in your 4th house turns your attention to the most private part of your chart. This full moon may reveal something about your home, family, or parents that effects you deeply. Listen to your inner voice during this time because the full moon may hone in on something you felt was already brewing.

A female family member might be the subject of the full moon. She may be ill, confined to the hospital, or require a surgical procedure. Property or expenses for the family may be an important topic, or you could find yourself in a disagreement over money.

The 4th house is found at the bottom of your chart and sometimes governs endings. Your position (or duties) at work or within your community may change or end. Alternatively, the sun (men) is highlighting career, while the moon opposes from the 4th house, therefore the days surrounding this full moon could find a career matter culminating. Sagittarians born within 5 days of Dec. 5 will be influenced most by this full moon.

Mercury will be retrograde Sept 6 – Sept 29. Mercury is the planet that governs transportation, communication, and all things related to the transfer of information. You should expect any of these areas to be influenced during Mercury’s retrograde. News becomes confusing, transportation is delayed or full of complications, and ideas or agreements are asked to be reconsidered. Items are often lost during this time, so keep your eye on important belongings and documents. I never found my credit card or car keys, items which I lost during two separate Mercury Retrograde periods. Be careful of what you spend your money on during any Mercury Rx phase because you may never use it or you might end up taking it back because it doesn’t work. The store shelves and car lots are full of “not so great deals” during this phase. Anything that is communication or transportation related may cause you problems such as computers, phones, gossip, fax machines, vehicles, or shopping over the internet.

You can’t put your life on hold during Mercury Retrograde, but you should concentrate on the things that are going on in your life now. Rest, relax, rejuvenate, re-write, re-organize, review, research, reflect, and re-evaluate.

For Sagittarius, this Mercury retrograde may find you rethinking your job or responsibilities. At work, someone may return that quit/transferred. There may be more confusion at work, the breakdown of technical equipment, or someone may fall short of their promises. If you have applied for a position, Mercury Rx could bring you two separate offers or you could change your mind about a previous opportunity. Mercury rules over your relationships, therefore this retrograde may influence employment decisions of your partner.

Venus transits your 9th house of long distance travel, education, foreign relations, publishing, the legal system, and your beliefs. If you’re looking for an escape route from work and responsibilities, you may enjoy a new series of books, or your pleasure may come from relating with those that share your philosophy. Sometimes this transit stimulates the desire to travel so you may be planning a trip, or someone you love may be far from home now.

Venus is the planet that rules beauty; therefore, you could learn something new about music, art, or architecture. You may be attracted to a foreigner, a teacher, or someone more educated than you are. Gifts or money may come through a law suit, a grandparent, a foreigner, publishing, or education.

Mars transits your 8th house through Oct. 15. The bill collector may come calling or it may be difficult to hold onto savings. Issues surrounding money from others could be a source of irritation. On a positive note, you may work harder to pay bills, to find a lower interest credit card, and to boost your savings account.

This Mars transit may stimulate your desire for sex and you will be more likely to seek this during this time. However, if you are not in a sexual relationship, it’s not likely that this transit will bring you one. This transit may cause emotions to erupt or dark secrets to come to a boiling point. Mars isn’t comfortable in Cancer (your 8th sector), so this transit could cause emotional upsets due to property or family relationships.

Your career, goals, reputation, or life direction is further emphasized at the new moon Sept. 18 falling in your 10th house. Your gift from the Universe is a fresh start or the ability to make progress before October’s full moon, although Sept. 18—24 are the most favorable. If your birthday falls near Dec. 18, you will notice this new moon’s energy most.

Your job description, duties, equipment, or schedules may be changing due to this new moon. With Mercury retrograde I hesitate suggesting you send out resumes, but you do what you have to, when you need to. Some part of your job/title/status may change as you know it, but again, because of Mercury, this may not be something lasting.

The new moon could bring a pay increase or benefits, although you may have to ask about it more than once. Check your pay statement because the planets are at a hard angle to Pluto in your income sector. While your income could be transformed, this can also cause upsets due to errors. Venus enters your career and reputation Sept. 20. You should expect favors from employers and pleasant interactions with people who really don’t know you—especially Sept. 20th/21st

September will be a memorable month for many signs, mostly because of unstable planetary patterns. The majority of heavy hitter aspects come into play around midmonth. Saturn will be nearing an exact opposition to Uranus which manifests Sept. 15. This aspect can result in sudden breaks or the need to break free of limiting circumstances.

Venus opposes Neptune on Sept. 15 which may result in having unrealistic expectations in a relationship. Someone may have a hidden agenda or there could be disappointments. No relationship should begin under this aspect if you want something lasting. Use this energy to help someone less fortunate or visit someone you know that needs cheering up.

On Sept. 17 the Sun will oppose Uranus, the planet of sudden unexpected events and breakthroughs. Accidents, irritability, tension, restlessness, impatience, and radical change are a few keywords you should know if you are influenced by this aspect. The sun opposes Uranus every year.

On the new moon Sept. 18, Mars, stationed at 15° Cancer, will trigger events related to the July 7 lunar eclipse at 15° Capricorn. Mars is used as a timer in astrology; I usually mention this at eclipse time and give you dates to expect eclipse activity to unfold. Mars has reached the exact degree of opposition to the July 7 eclipse, therefore some of you may be dealing with the results of that eclipse now.

Still active at the wake of the Sept. 18 new moon, these aspects remain volatile through Sept. 25 when the moon meets up with Pluto at a highly sensitive degree in Capricorn. The earliest born in the signs of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and Aries will be influenced most by this conjunction. Dependant on your birth chart, other signs may also experience intense emotional changes or the feeling of being completely overwhelmed. Home, family, and/or finances may demand your attention. Possessiveness, jealousy, and power struggles, sometimes due to emotional manipulations, can result.

That said, powerful planetary patterns as we have now are often the driving force behind major breakthroughs. Lessons will be learned (some the hard way), progress will be made (through sheer will and determination) and barriers will be broken (with extra effort and hard work). At the end of the day you may be thanking the Universe for the aspects that propelled you through a month like September.

The Sun enters your 11th house Sept. 22 and turns your attention to friendships, groups of like-minded people, and your goals. The next four weeks include more socializing. You may be recognized for career or personal achievements, so lay the ground work now.

Have a wonderful and productive month!

As an astrologer and a member of the AFA, it is important to me that the latest research, news, and course offerings continue to reach the public. If it were not for so many dedicated people working to keep astrology alive, it would fade away. Postage, advertising, and manpower require funding, which is made possible through membership.

Please visit the AFA website and when you sign up, let them know that you are a friend from Horoscopes Within. You can add a note in the FAX number box - this will let the AFA know how you found them. Horoscopes Within or myself will not receive any credit or benefits for your membership. I am merely one member reaching out to you through this website. Thank you for your consideration.

Best wishes, Cornelia Jones
