If like a lot of people, you took a big hit back when the economy crashed, and if you have been struggling to rebuild, making progress at a lot slower pace than you would have liked… then this is the month that you will probably like the most. Your financial and professional sectors are working together beautifully to help you rebuild your savings accounts and to start making progress towards achieving your goals. Your home life is blessed by this positive financial and professional energy too, so you are feeling pretty good about things this month.

Continuing Trends:
From November 16th through March 23rd, Saturn and Neptune are joining forces on your behalf. Saturn is still in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, connectivity, and Internet sector trying to teach you life lessons about these topics. And Neptune is still in your communications, commerce, and community sector trying to help you to experience a bit of “magic” in these areas of your life. In early February, Neptune will relocate to your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, safety and security, retirement circumstances, and coming home sector. Together, Saturn and Neptune combine logic and intuition, practicality and spirituality, critical analysis and compassion in a lovely manner. To begin with, this is a wonderful time for social gatherings, business networking, making sales presentations to groups, teams, clubs, associations, etc, and for using the Internet to stay in touch and to improve your commercial activities. Buying, selling, bargain hunting, bartering, negotiating, persuading, entertaining, and/or simply talking with friends, colleagues, associates, extended family, neighbors, and local community members is easier with Saturn and Neptune’s help. Later, after Neptune moves into his new location, you could find it is a good time to combine your friends with your home. Maybe you will host a gathering of friends at your house, or invite long-distance friends to come visit and be your houseguests, or you could have a friend move in and become your roommate. Or friends could help you with home-improvement projects. It is also a good time for home-based Internet activities.
From December 11th through February 6th, Jupiter and Saturn are opposing each other. Jupiter has been traveling backwards through your daily work, coworkers, chores, to-do lists, productivity levels, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector. He is extremely close to the borderline as if he is going to move back into your playtime sector, but he will remain in your daily work and physical health sector. Saturn is in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, connectivity, and Internet sector. He has moved very close to the edge as if he is about to enter your bureaucracies sector, but he will remain in your social networking sector. The opposition is between your “work” and your “friends, groups, Internet”. You could find that Internet problems, crashing websites, ineffective Internet marketing campaigns, committee meetings, a lack of teamwork, or too much time socializing is causing a drop in productivity levels.
From January 29th through February 3rd, Venus is opposing Mars. Venus is in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, retirement, and “coming home” sector. Mars is in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. When these two areas clash, we usually see a battle between home and career, between leadership roles and retirement, between mother and father, or between your public life and your private life. It is easy to feel overworked and stressed out. Do what you can to try to create balance between the opposing forces and be glad that it is a short-term dynamic.
New Developments:
February 3rd Neptune enters Pisces and your fourth house. He will stay here until 2025. In Pisces, Neptune is literally at home. Neptune rules over Pisces and the concepts of mental health, attitudes, addictions, self-destruction, dishonesty, gullibility, emotional well-being, inner peace, intuition, secrets, spiritual mysteries, paranormal activities, charities, hospitals, prisons, corporations, bureaucracies, and other hidden forces that work behind the scenes. Neptune will be stronger here than he has been in a very long time. He will do his best to bring out the loving, compassionate, peaceful, charitable, and magical elements of Pisces. However, there will be times when other planets are clashing with Neptune and he will instead bring deceit, delusion, and bureaucratic red tape into our lives. For Sagittarius, Neptune will be in your fourth house of real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement circumstances, and coming home. During this time, when Neptune is clashing with or being opposed by other planets in the zodiac, then he can bring lies, deceptions, “fogginess”, addictions, escapism, gullibility, and delusion to your home life. Your parents could show signs of senility, you could find yourself wanting to hide away in your home rather than face the harsh realities of life, and/or you could simply find that roommates are behaving in fickle and bizarre ways. You could find that real estate deals are full of hidden loopholes and secret problems. Sometimes having Neptune in the fourth house can mean that just trying to keep a roof over your head can be a challenge, and you might find yourself struggling just to create a solid home life for yourself. However, Neptune’s goal is to bring mental health, spirituality, peace of mind, tranquility, and compassion into your private life. He is available to help you work through psychological issues regarding your parents and how you were raised. Since Neptune rules over a water sign (Pisces), you could also find yourself being drawn towards living in coastal towns or otherwise near the water. There is a certain laidback, quiet, peaceful energy that comes from “living on the water” so to speak. On the other hand, there is the possibility that you could suffer water damage to your home. Overall, Neptune’s goal is to bring his positive gifts to your home, your relationship with your parents and roommates, and to your ability to plan for a peaceful retirement. He just does not handle negativity very well.
February 7th hosts a full moon in your long-distance travel, languages, foreigners, cultures, religions, laws, politics, universities, mass media, and global awareness sector. Full moons are for grand finales, endings, closure, and “ta-da!” moments. There is nothing negatively affecting this one, so you should be able to accomplish, finalize, and/or complete any legal, political, cultural, religious, academic, media, and/or travel-oriented goals or projects you might be working on. This is also a good time for ending relationships or projects involving people that work in these industries. If you are able to settle a legal disagreement, then you no longer need a lawyer. If you are done traveling, you no longer need to be in contact with your travel agent. This does not have to be a negative ending to a relationship, just a natural ending to the time you spent together. Mercury is helping to add intelligence, business savvy, commitments, and/or communications to this positive ending in your community, commerce, and communications sector.
From February 7th through the 11th, Venus is traveling with Uranus. These two planets love to have fun and get quirky together. They can create love at first sight, creative genius, delightful flirting, and wonderful charm. For you, they are in your personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, children, pets, hobbies, creativity, luxuries, and happiness sector. Together, they can bring more charm, sex appeal, friendly compassion, and delightful social skills into these areas of your life. You are creative, spontaneous, and charming at this time, so it is easy to find others who might like to join you in your playful activities.
From February 11th through the 14th, Mercury is traveling with Neptune. As mentioned before, Neptune has recently changed locations and is still working well with Saturn. Mercury and Neptune are bringing creativity, intuition, compassion, bureaucratic finesse, and/or spirituality into your real estate deals, housing situation, home-improvement projects, and/or your relationships with your roommates or parents. Saturn is still in your friends, teamwork, and Internet sector. This is a good time for you to telecommute, host social gatherings in your home, let friends move in with you, or for using the Internet to help you with real estate matters or for keeping in touch with your parents.
From February 13th through the 17th, Venus and Pluto are not getting along very well. Venus is in your personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, children, pets, hobbies, creativity, luxuries, and happiness sector. Pluto is in your personal wealth, salaries, wages, assets, net worth, and self-worth sector. Venus and Pluto rule over all forms of wealth and seduction, so this could be a financial battle or romantic trust issue involving a lover, child, pet, hobby, vacation, or luxury items. You could be spending too much money on these things or you could be upset because you cannot afford to splurge on them at this time. Either way, your budget and your extracurricular activities are clashing.
From February 15th through the 16th, Mercury and Jupiter are creating a bit of good luck, business savvy, and fun. Mercury is still in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, retirement circumstances, and coming home sector. Jupiter is still in your daily work, coworkers, to-do lists, chores, productivity, and feeling useful sector. Together, they help you telecommute, work in a home-based business, work on chores and projects around the house, or work in a home-oriented business (furniture, appliances, hospice care, maid service, landscaping, etc). This is a smart, fun, and productive energy. You can get a lot accomplished and enjoy yourself while doing so. Mercury rules commerce and negotiations and Jupiter rules prosperity and good luck, so this could be a very good time for you to focus on creating smart business deals.
From February 15th through the 21st, the sun steps into the same location where Mercury used to be when he was helping Neptune and Saturn. Once again, you are encouraged to find ways of blending your social life and Internet skills with your desire to have a happy home and to get along with your roommates and parents.
From February 16th through April 1st, Jupiter and Pluto are working together in a strong and powerful manner. These are two of the Titans of the Zodiac. When they fight, it is awful and when they cooperate with one another, we are all blessed. Pluto rules over trust and sharing; this includes fidelity and various forms of profit sharing. Jupiter rules over knowledge, luck, and global awareness among other things. Pluto is in professional, responsible, and civic-minded Capricorn. Jupiter is in frugal, cautious, and reliable Taurus. They were part of the big ugly planetary mess back in 2009 and 2010 that made it so hard for us to deal with political, cultural, economic, social, corporate, and governmental challenges. Four of the five big planets were involved. These are the first two to begin playing nice together. Globally, we should see strong, smart, cautious economic growth finally begin to take hold. Politically and culturally, people could feel a bit conservative and cautious. That does not necessarily mean they will vote for their country’s “conservative party” but that they will be very mindful of who really does have our long-term financial and economic security in mind. We will not want our leaders making foolish or risky choices. We will look towards companies, governments, and other employers to pay an honest wage for an honest day’s work. That might seem like a no-brainer, but it has been missing from our political leaders for too long. For Sagittarius, your personal wealth sector is getting along quite nicely with your work and productivity sector. It is a good time to be focusing on your financial and professional goals. Pluto helps you to be smart with your money and Jupiter helps you to be lucky in your professional life. The combination makes it easier for you to succeed at both.
From February 17th through the 18th, Mercury is also working with Pluto. Mercury rules negotiations, intelligence, bargaining, commerce, and contracts. He is in the area of your chart that governs housing matters. With Mercury’s love of commerce and negotiations and Pluto’s love of profits, this is an incredibly good time for negotiating rental contracts, lease agreements, mortgages, home-improvement loans, home-based revenue streams, household budgets, etc.
February 21st hosts a new moon in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, safety and security, retirement circumstances, and coming home sector. New moons are for beginnings, conceptions, fresh starts, launchings, etc. This new beginning in your life is tied up in the positive energies between Neptune and Saturn. New moons in the home sector promote new roommates, parents (through re-marriage?), or new relationships with pre-existing roommates and parents. They also promote new landscaping or home-improvement projects, acquiring new real estate properties, buying or moving into new homes, starting new home-based businesses, and/or any other fresh start or new beginning within your private life. With Saturn in your friends, teamwork, and Internet sector sending his long-term blessings, you could find friends are helping you with this new project (like helping you to paint and redecorate, or helping you with a landscaping project, etc). Or you could be utilizing the Internet to help you with a home-based business.
From February 21st through the 24th, Mercury is opposing Mars. Mercury is still in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, retirement, and coming home sector. Mars is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. When these two areas clash, we usually see a battle between home and career, between leadership roles and retirement, between mother and father, or between your public life and your private life. Once again, it is easy to feel overworked and stressed out. With Mercury and Mars involved, this is a smart and passionate debate.
From February 23rd through the 26th, the sun takes his turn working with Jupiter the same way that Venus and Mercury already have. Once again, you are able to get a lot accomplished while working from home. This is another opportunity to telecommute, work on household projects and chores, work in a home-based business, or excel in a home-oriented industry (contractors, realtors, interior decorators, etc).
From February 26th through the 29th, the sun shifts focus and begins working with Pluto to combine your personal wealth sector with your home sector. This gives you another opportunity to work on household finances, real estate deals, and retirement savings. Jupiter and Pluto are still working together to help you with your financial and professional goals. On the 26th, the sun is helping both ends of this dynamic.
From February 29th through March 5th, the sun opposes Mars the same way that Venus and Mercury did. Once again, you are dealing with a battle between home and career, between leadership roles and retirement, between mother and father, or between your public life and your private life.
From February 29th through March 6th, Venus is opposing Saturn. Venus is in your personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, children, pets, hobbies, creativity, luxuries, and happiness sector. Saturn is in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, groups, and Internet sector. Your social obligations or Internet activities are clashing with your personal happiness and playtime activities. You feel torn between the two. Do what you can to create balance.
