September 2010 Monthly Horoscope Forecast

Your salary, possessions, and what you value takes center stage in September. This may be an important time for income or an important purchase. This month you focus on what you value, which may have little to do with finances for some Leo’s.
The new moon Sept. 8 in your 2nd house of earnings, material goods, and self worth offers you two weeks to begin anew, although the first week following any new moon is the most powerful. Leo born within 5 days of August 8 will be influenced most. You may ask for a pay increase, or put in some over-time to supplement your income. This would also be a good time to call back someone that turned you down for employment previously or rewrite your resume. It may be time to cut expenses, to plan a new budget strategy, make payment arrangements, or money may be the subject of negotiations. New moons help you make progress so plan and prepare now. By the September full moon, you will be well on your way to establishing what you intended at the start of this new moon.
Entertainment, dating, children, or pets may add to your expenses in September. If you receive an estimate for repairs, wait until after Mercury stations direct before you take action and go over important details again. Mercury is retrograde therefore there could be a misunderstanding or an important financial detail that isn’t clear. Double check your financial documents and bank statements now. Your partner’s income could be an important topic this month. Alternatively, money from a friend, in-law, group, or worthy cause may be significant for you.
Mercury retrogrades in your 2nd house August 20—Sept. 12. Mercury slows its orbit during this phase so you may notice some confusion. This Mercury retrograde makes no stressful aspects to planets in your solar chart which may be favorable for you. That being said, you could experience some aggravation during this time.
Mercury governs transportation, communication, and all things related to the transfer of information. You can expect these areas to be influenced during Mercury’s retrograde. News becomes confusing, transportation may be delayed or complicated, and ideas are asked to be reconsidered. Make yourself clear, read the fine print and do what you can to avoid miscommunication. Items are often lost during this time, so keep your eye on your valuables and important documents. I’ve lost a credit card during Mercury retrograde and my car keys during another retrograde! This is not a time to make important or expensive purchases. You may not use them or they may be flawed. The store shelves may be full of “not so great deals” now. Computers, phones, mail, fax machines, transportation and/or appliances may be annoying or fail to perform properly.
The weeks of Mercury retrograde might cause delays or obstacles, but it’s the best time for increasing your knowledge and bringing important details to your attention, which could be problematic at a later date.
This is not a time to sign papers or make verbal agreements, unless this is something you’ve already had in the works. Rest, relax, rejuvenate, re-write, re-organize, review, re-do, renew, research and re-evaluate. Allow a few days after Mercury turns direct before you proceed with any new ideas, major purchases, contracts or important decisions.
Venus glides harmoniously through your 3rd house of agreements, communicating, ideas, and transportation until Sept. 8. It’s easier to compromise and/or talk with people that are more experienced than you are. People are more willing to listen to what you have to say now. You may benefit through a travel, a legal case, a long distance issue, publishing or education. Sept. 3 is favorable for Leo’s (born in July) who anticipating a successful financial matter. Romance and entertainment can be found in your local community. Visit nearby attractions and bring more joy into your life this month.
The sun enters your 3rd sector of relating on September 22. The next four weeks will highlight transportation, local travel, thinking, planning and how you assimilate information. This is a good time for studying, test taking, or learning a new skill. It will be a busy time for you with many details, errands, appointments, or important discussions.
On Sept. 8, Venus enters your 4th house of home and family. Venus will retrograde in October and will spend the rest of the year in your 4th house, Leo. With Venus transiting your home and the sun highlighting contracts or agreements, you may be upgrading your surroundings or making family or property decisions in September. This month favors domestic relationships. Be the one to reach out to your family, Leo.
What about love and romance with Venus in your home sector for the remainder of 2010? Love can be found at home, although relationships may not be lasting or you may change your mind about a romantic tie when Venus retrogrades in October. Romance could blossom by meeting someone through a family member. Home is where your heart will be, although you may not realize this until mid October.
Fiery Mars enters your home and family sector Sept. 14, which will give you the energy and drive to accomplish tasks around the home. Mars and he 4th house are not always compatible; however Mars is co-ruler of Scorpio, Leo’s 4th house so this transit may work well for you. Mars can cause conflicts with family members so use Venus’ peace-loving energy to smooth over difficulties and compromise. Mars in the 4th house can cause worry, brooding, and impulsive reactions. This is a wonderful transit for redecorating or renovating, or for entertaining in the home. This transit may be what you need to get your home or family situation just the way you want it.
Pluto moves forward in your 6th house of health, daily routines, pets, and employment duties Sept. 13—April 2011. This means that early Leo’s with birthdays before July 31 will be feeling Pluto’s transformative energy in 2010.
If your birthday falls after July 28, you will be influenced most beginning Jan. 2011. However, that’s not to say you won’t be experiencing this heavy hitter planet now or in the coming months. You may have planets in the cardinal signs of your chart that will receive Pluto’s energy. The cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. All of these signs are known as self-starters of the zodiac.
This Pluto transit is inconjunct your Sun in 2010. The angles will change as Pluto transits further into Capricorn therefore not all Leo’s will experience Pluto in the same manner or at the same time. We will talk more about this as aspects become relevant for you.
In the months ahead, early Leo will be adjusting to changing circumstances regarding health, employment, pets, or the structure of your daily life. If you feel pulled in several directions, this may be the result of this Pluto transit. It can be a challenging transit and it may cause upsets or power struggles within yourself or with those you work closely with. Try to go with the flow as opposed to handling one issue at a time because this can add further stress to any difficulties you may be facing. This transit has the power to alter domestic conditions and it can be an emotional time. Pluto’s influence is always one of transformation, but you must remember that YOU HAVE THE POWER to create the kind of life you want for yourself.
The full moon Sept. 23 calls your attention to the 9th house of education, legal matters, publishing, long distance issues, and your personal beliefs. Leo born within 5 days of July 23 will be influenced more than others. This full moon may point to issues surrounding a child, a grandparent, your partner, or someone far from home. What occurs now may carry financial undertones. While you might benefit at this full moon, you may need to rethink your strategy or it could change your thoughts about some long-term goals.
