Your boss or professional path can seem a bit hazy, uncertain, flaky, or self-destructive. And yet, you are truly happy with the work that you are doing. Maybe you are following a non-conventional path and working in a fun and creative industry (like music, theatre, sports, etc) that does not provide you with a lot of wealth and easy steps up the Ladder of Success, but it does provide you with a wonderful feeling of joy when you head into work each morning. Or maybe you are just doing a great job of balancing work and play. Whichever it is, you are having fun AND making professional progress at the same time.

Continuing Trends:
From November 16th through March 23rd, Saturn and Neptune are joining forces on your behalf. Saturn is still in your personal pleasure, romance, lovers, playtime, children, pets, creativity, hobbies, luxuries, and happiness sector trying to teach you life lessons about these topics. And Neptune is still in your long-distance travel, relocation, languages, foreigners, cultures, politics, religions, laws, universities, mass media, and global awareness sector trying to help you to experience a bit of “magic” in these areas of your life. In early February, Neptune will relocate to your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. Together, Saturn and Neptune combine logic and intuition, practicality and spirituality, critical analysis and compassion in a lovely manner. To begin with, this is a wonderful time for you to literally and figuratively “follow your bliss”. You are not meant to blindly and self-destructively wander from one hedonistic adventure to the next, but to logically and systematically find a way to make “happiness” into a logical and important goal worth achieving. Sign up for fascinating college classes, go on vacation to another city, learn interesting new ways to cook, paint, sing, dance, etc. The idea is to broaden your horizons and to open your mind to new ways of viewing the world. It is not important WHAT you decide brings you joy, but that you make it a priority and begin walking down a path that provides you opportunities to enjoy your life. Later, after Neptune moves into his new location, Saturn and Neptune are promoting the idea that you should love the job you have. It could be something simple like golfing with your boss as a way to move up the Ladder of Success. Or it could be a bigger concept like turning a favorite hobby or pastime into your professional path. If you work in happiness-oriented industries (music, theatre, fine dining, child care, pet shops, vacations, luxury sales, etc), then you could find this is an excellent opportunity to move forward with your professional goals.
From December 11th through February 6th, Jupiter and Saturn are opposing each other. Jupiter has been traveling backwards through your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, bureaucratic, and secrets sector. He is extremely close to the borderline as if he is going to move back into your social networking sector, but he will remain in your “secrets” sector. Saturn is in your happiness sector. He has moved very close to the edge as if he is about to enter your work sector, but he will not leave your happiness sector. The opposition is between your “secrets” and your “happiness”. Your children, lovers, pets, hobbies, creative projects, etc could be causing you to feel stressed out, depressed, or as if you are not living up to your spiritual beliefs. Saturn causes your loved ones to be more frugal, depressed, bitter, and/or conservative than what Jupiter thinks you should be. It is also possible that your desire to live “the good life” is actually causing you to become more depressed. If you are spending a lot of time and energy trying to force your life into some predefined idea of what “happily ever after” looks like, it could be creating more pain instead of joy. It is also possible that your emotional and spiritual beliefs are nicely aligned with whatever brings joy into your life, but you are dealing with bureaucratic issues, red tape, brick walls, self-destruction, etc that is causing you to not achieve your happiness-related goals. For example, a mystery ailment could be causing you to not be able to conceive children or a bureaucratic mess could be making it really difficult to adopt children or pets. Or bureaucratic issues are costing you too much time and therefore you do not have any playtime left in your schedule for the people and hobbies that you love. Or secrets are coming out that interfere with your ability to enjoy time with your lover or child. Perhaps they have been hiding something from you or you have been hiding something from them and now it comes out and nobody is happy about it. Jupiter is also in a area of the chart that rules over “fogginess” and hidden things, so maybe you are trying to find a lost pet, missing child, or a lover that seems emotionally absent. Something in your emotional, spiritual, bureaucratic, and secrets sector is opposing your happiness, lovers, children, pets, hobbies, and luxuries sector.
From January 29th through February 3rd, Venus is opposing Mars. Venus is in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. Mars is in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, retirement, and “coming home” sector. When these two areas clash, we usually see a battle between home and career, between leadership roles and retirement, between mother and father, or between your public life and your private life. It is easy to feel overworked and stressed out. Do what you can to try to create balance between the opposing forces and be glad that it is a short-term dynamic.
New Developments:
February 3rd Neptune enters Pisces and your tenth house. He will stay here until 2025. In Pisces, Neptune is literally at home. Neptune rules over Pisces and the concepts of mental health, attitudes, addictions, self-destruction, dishonesty, gullibility, emotional well-being, inner peace, intuition, secrets, spiritual mysteries, paranormal activities, charities, hospitals, prisons, corporations, bureaucracies, and other hidden forces that work behind the scenes. Neptune will be stronger here than he has been in a very long time. He will do his best to bring out the loving, compassionate, peaceful, charitable, and magical elements of Pisces. However, there will be times when other planets are clashing with Neptune and he will instead bring deceit, delusion, and bureaucratic red tape into our lives. For Gemini, Neptune will be in your tenth house of professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and success. When things are going well, Neptune will magically help your career and when things are not going well, Neptune will muddy the waters and make it very difficult to figure out which direction you should be heading in. It is somewhat like your professional path is a maze or labyrinth and sometimes Neptune helps you to intuitively “know” which way to go. And at other times, Neptune has you crashing into brick walls and running down dead ends. Following a spiritual path, a path of compassion and heart, etc can help. If you are drawn to psychology or any kind of career that helps others to overcome their personal demons, that could help you to not suffer as much from Neptune’s travels through this area of your chart. On the other hand, Neptune can also cause you to constantly daydream, worry, and wonder about what professional path you should take, could take, will take, etc. Being dreamy while in a creative, artistic, or musical industry is not that bad. Being dreamy in a more traditional career could be a problem. Maybe the answer is to spend the next few years praying, meditating, etc to find the right professional path for you. Following your gut instincts might be easier than trying to force a more logical method. To some extent, Neptune has a “whatever will be, will be” effect on your professional goals at this time.
February 7th hosts a full moon in your local community, commercial activities, and interpersonal communications sector. Full moons are for grand finales, endings, closure, and “ta-da!” moments. There is nothing negatively affecting this one, so you should be able to accomplish, finalize, and/or complete any written, oral, commercial, transportation, computer, telecommunications, and/or community-oriented goals or projects you might be working on. This is also a good time for ending dysfunctional relationships with neighbors, relatives, or community members and for saying “goodbye” to old neighborhoods, hometowns, or to neighbors that are moving away. Mercury is helping to add intelligence, business savvy, commitments, and/or communications to this positive ending in your community, commerce, and communications sector.
From February 7th through the 11th, Venus is traveling with Uranus. These two planets love to have fun and get quirky together. They can create love at first sight, creative genius, delightful flirting, and wonderful charm. For you, they are in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, groups, and Internet sector. Together, they can bring more charm, sex appeal, friendly compassion, and delightful social skills into these areas of your life. You could also find that this is an excellent time for working on websites, online profiles, and ecommerce.
From February 11th through the 14th, Mercury is traveling with Neptune. As mentioned before, Neptune has recently changed locations and is still working well with Saturn. Mercury and Neptune are bringing creativity, intuition, compassion, bureaucratic finesse, and/or spirituality into your professional goals and aspirations, leadership style, public reputation, and/or achievements. Saturn is still in your happiness sector. This is a good time for you to focus on balancing your professional goals with your need for playtime and happiness. This might be a good time to consider turning your favorite hobby or pastime into your profession.
From February 13th through the 17th, Venus and Pluto are not getting along very well. Venus is in your friends, team spirit, and Internet sector. Pluto is in your trust and sharing, fidelity, joint ventures, and profits sector. Venus and Pluto rule over all forms of wealth and seduction, so this could be a financial battle or romantic trust issue involving a friend, teammate, colleague, group, association, and/or the Internet. Trust your gut on this one. If it feels like something is not quite right, you are probably correct. If you are trying to turn a friend or colleague into a romantic partner, this is not the time for that. It could backfire. It is not a good time for signing financial commitments or making investments involving teams, clubs, and other groups. And you will need to be especially careful when conducting financial transactions online. Be mindful of phishing schemes and other online scams.
From February 15th through the 16th, Mercury and Jupiter are creating a bit of good luck, business savvy, and fun. Mercury is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. Jupiter is still in your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucratic, mysteries, and secrets sector. Together, they help you negotiate professional contracts involving large corporations, institutions, government agencies, and other bureaucratic organizations. They can also help you to make sure that you are not doing anything self-destructive to ruin your professional success and they can possibly add some intuitive brainstorming into your leadership and management techniques as well.
From February 15th through the 21st, the sun steps into the same location where Mercury used to be when he was helping Neptune and Saturn. Once again, you are encouraged to find ways of blending your professional goals with your desire to be happy, to look at ways of earning a living by doing a job that you truly love, and by finding ways to enjoy your career.
From February 16th through April 1st, Jupiter and Pluto are working together in a strong and powerful manner. These are two of the Titans of the Zodiac. When they fight, it is awful and when they cooperate with one another, we are all blessed. Pluto rules over trust and sharing; this includes fidelity and various forms of profit sharing. Jupiter rules over knowledge, luck, and global awareness among other things. Pluto is in professional, responsible, and civic-minded Capricorn. Jupiter is in frugal, cautious, and reliable Taurus. They were part of the big ugly planetary mess back in 2009 and 2010 that made it so hard for us to deal with political, cultural, economic, social, corporate, and governmental challenges. Four of the five big planets were involved. These are the first two to begin playing nice together. Globally, we should see strong, smart, cautious economic growth finally begin to take hold. Politically and culturally, people could feel a bit conservative and cautious. That does not necessarily mean they will vote for their country’s “conservative party” but that they will be very mindful of who really does have our long-term financial and economic security in mind. We will not want our leaders making foolish or risky choices. We will look towards companies, governments, and other employers to pay an honest wage for an honest day’s work. That might seem like a no-brainer, but it has been missing from our political leaders for too long. For Gemini, your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint assets, joint ventures, investments, commissions, royalties, inheritances, child and spousal support, lotteries, loans, taxes, and other forms of profit sharing sector is getting along quite nicely with your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucratic, mysteries, and secrets sector. It is a good time to be focusing on your financial goals involving bureaucratic organizations. It is also an excellent time for lovers, you can share your deepest thoughts and feelings and work through any trust issues that might be holding you back from experiencing real love and intimacy. This is an especially good time for emotional, spiritual, and psychological healing of old wounds.
From February 17th through the 18th, Mercury is also working with Pluto. Mercury rules negotiations, intelligence, bargaining, commerce, and contracts. He is in the area of your chart that governs professional success and leadership. He can help Pluto brainstorm business growth ideas and he can help with all kinds of leadership projects, job interviews, financial negotiations, etc. With Mercury’s love of commerce and negotiations and Pluto’s love of profits, this is an incredibly good time for negotiating commission rates, increasing profits, bargaining for better insurance benefits, asking for more paid vacation time, and for earning bigger bonus checks.
February 21st hosts a new moon in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. New moons are for new beginnings, fresh starts, launchings, conceptions, and new ideas. This new beginning in your life is tied up in the positive energies between Neptune and Saturn. This is a great time for new bosses, jobs, goals, professional paths, publicity campaigns, leadership roles, etc. This is especially true if you are working in an industry that you truly love or if your job involves making people happy (like music, theatre, fine dining, daycare, luxury sales, etc.)
From February 21st through the 24th, Mercury is opposing Mars. Mercury is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. Mars is still in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, retirement, and coming home sector. When these two areas clash, we usually see a battle between home and career, between leadership roles and retirement, between mother and father, or between your public life and your private life. Once again, it is easy to feel overworked and stressed out. With Mercury and Mars involved, this is a smart and passionate debate.
From February 23rd through the 26th, the sun takes his turn working with Jupiter the same way that Venus and Mercury already have. Once again, you are able to get your spiritual and emotional needs in alignment with your professional goals. You can brainstorm clever ideas about success and leadership. And you can safeguard against self-destructive professional habits. You can also work on professional and financial deals involving bureaucratic and/or charitable organizations.
From February 26th through the 29th, the sun shifts focus and begins working with Pluto to combine your professional goals, leadership style, reputation, and aspirations sector with your commissions, royalties, tips and gratuities, stock options, and profit sharing sector. The sun can help you take on a leadership role and to focus on improving your financial and professional prospects. Jupiter and Pluto are still working together to help you with your financial and bureaucratic goals. On the 26th, the sun is helping both ends of this dynamic.
From February 29th through March 5th, the sun opposes Mars the same way that Venus and Mercury did. Once again, you are dealing with a battle between home and career, between leadership roles and retirement, between mother and father, or between your public life and your private life.
From February 29th through March 6th, Venus is opposing Saturn. Venus is in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, groups, and Internet sector.
