Horoscope Overview
It is hard for you to get away from the workaholic label. Even while having fun, working on a hobby, going on vacation, splurging on luxury items, etc, you are still seeing the potential to turn a hobby or pastime into a lucrative business opportunity. If you do not already work in an industry that you absolutely love with all of your heart, then you should probably take a good hard look at that idea while having fun this month. If you are going to be spending the majority of hours that you are awake working, then shouldn’t you like what you are doing?

Continuing Trends:
From November 16th through March 23rd, Saturn and Neptune are joining forces on your behalf. Saturn is still in your professional aspirations, goals, public reputation, leadership, fame, civic duty, integrity, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector trying to teach you life lessons about these topics. And Neptune is still in your personal wealth, salaries, wages, assets, net worth, and self-worth sector trying to help you to experience a bit of “magic” in these areas of your life. In early February, Neptune will relocate to your communities, communications, commitments, and commercial sector. Together, Saturn and Neptune combine logic and intuition, practicality and spirituality, critical analysis and compassion in a lovely manner. To begin with, this is a wonderful time for you to brainstorm creative ideas that will help you to achieve your professional and financial goals. Later, after Neptune moves into his new location, the focus switches towards the commercial aspects of your job as opposed to the financial. It is similar, but different. You could find it is easier to buy, sell, barter, trade, negotiate, interview, create written and spoken presentations, and to otherwise communicate your professional needs, ideas, and aspirations. Commitments, telecommunications, transportation, local communities, and commercial activities involving your career are especially blessed at this time.
From December 11th through February 6th, Jupiter and Saturn are opposing each other. Jupiter has been traveling backwards through your personal pleasure, romance, playtime, children, pets, hobbies, creative talents, luxury, and happiness sector. He is extremely close to the borderline as if he is going to move back into your home sector, but he will remain in your happiness sector. Saturn is in your professional aspirations, goals, public reputation, leadership, fame, civic duty, integrity, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. He has moved very close to the edge as if he is about to enter your friends, team spirit, and Internet sector, but he will remain in your success and leadership sector. The opposition is between your “success” and your “happiness”. A lover or child could be upset about how much time you spend working. They could be jealous and angry that you care too much about what other people think, success, and/or your standing in the community. It is also possible that your boss, father, or an authority figure thinks that you spend too much time focusing on your love life, children, pets, hobbies, vacation plans, etc. Or you could simply feel torn between your need to overcome professional obstacles and “learning experiences” and your need to have fun and spend quality time with your loved ones. Saturn causes your professional life to be more challenging, serious, problematic, and/or conservative than what Jupiter thinks your playtime activities should be. This could be something major like trying to save your business from going bankrupt while also being a good parent to your children. Or it could be something minor like trying to juggle professional responsibilities with holiday festivities. Do what you can to create balance.
From January 29th through February 3rd, Venus is opposing Mars. Venus is still in your local community, commerce, and communications sector. Mars is still in your long-distance travel, languages, foreigners, cultures, religions, politics, laws, universities, mass media, and global knowledge sector. When these two areas clash, we usually see all forms of transportation, communications, education, and cultural philosophies clashing. There can often be a small town values versus global awareness debate. Or arguments involving politics, religions, academics, cultures, etc. Do what you can to try to create balance between the opposing forces and be glad that it is a short-term dynamic.
New Developments:
February 3rd Neptune enters Pisces and your third house. He will stay here until 2025. In Pisces, Neptune is literally at home. Neptune rules over Pisces and the concepts of mental health, attitudes, addictions, self-destruction, dishonesty, gullibility, emotional well-being, inner peace, intuition, secrets, spiritual mysteries, paranormal activities, charities, hospitals, prisons, corporations, bureaucracies, and other hidden forces that work behind the scenes. Neptune will be stronger here than he has been in a very long time. He will do his best to bring out the loving, compassionate, peaceful, charitable, and magical elements of Pisces. However, there will be times when other planets are clashing with Neptune and he will instead bring deceit, delusion, and bureaucratic red tape into our lives. For Capricorn, Neptune will be in your third house of communications, commerce, and community. Neptune adds intuition, compassion, spirituality, and/or inner peace aspects to your interpersonal communications, your business dealings, and/or your relationships with family and people in your local community. Unfortunately, when planets clash with Neptune, he can add self-destruction, gullibility, secrets, mental health issues, deceit, and/or intellectual “fogginess” to these same activities. On good days, Neptune helps you to intuitively “know” when to call a relative to check up on them and on a bad day, Neptune makes it hard for you to communicate effectively. It is as if you are speaking different languages the way that people just do not seem to understand what you are saying. You want to be a kind and compassionate person even if that makes you gullible sometimes and it means that your kindness is sometimes mistaken for something that it is not. For example, you might want to tell someone of the opposite sex how much you appreciate their help in your life, but they think you are flirting with them and that causes all kinds of drama. Or you are trying to negotiate a pay raise, but because you are being kind and compassionate throughout the process, your boss takes it to mean that you are not very passionate about wanting the increase in salary. And of course, the needy, greedy, and seedy types are magnetically attracted to your desire to be kind and caring, so you will have to be very careful about who you do and do not trust at this time. Overall, Neptune works to help you to spiritually and intuitively figure out how to get your needs met and how to connect with others on a more meaningful level.
February 7th hosts a full moon in your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint assets, joint ventures, investments, stocks, commissions, bonus checks, tips and gratuities, child and spousal support, inheritances, lotteries, loans, taxes, and other forms of profit sharing sector. Full moons are for grand finales, endings, closure, and “ta-da!” moments. There is nothing negatively affecting this one, so you should be able to accomplish, finalize, and/or complete any romantic or financial goals or projects you might be working on. This is also a good time for ending dysfunctional love affairs and for collecting profits owed to you. Mercury is helping to add intelligence, business savvy, commitments, and/or communications to this positive ending in your fidelity and profits sector.
From February 7th through the 11th, Venus is traveling with Uranus. These two planets love to have fun and get quirky together. They can create love at first sight, creative genius, delightful flirting, and wonderful charm. For you, they are in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, safety and security, retirement circumstances, and coming home sector. Together, they can bring more charm, sex appeal, friendly compassion, and delightful social skills into your private life. You could have a lovely time hosting various guests, entertaining roommates, and/or spending quality time with your parents. Since Venus rules wealth and Uranus rules the Internet, you could find that this is an excellent time for ecommerce and Internet based home businesses. Or maybe you just enjoy sending love notes over the Internet.
From February 11th through the 14th, Mercury is traveling with Neptune. As mentioned before, Neptune has recently changed locations and is still working well with Saturn. Mercury and Neptune are in the process of changing their focus from wealth to commerce. That is still beneficial when teaming up with Saturn in your professional aspirations, goals, public reputation, leadership, fame, civic duty, integrity, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. This is a good time for professional activities involving sales, written and verbal presentations, creative and analytical goal analysis, job interviews, and leadership roles within your extended family or community.
From February 13th through the 17th, Venus and Pluto are not getting along very well. Venus is in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, safety and security, retirement circumstances, and coming home sector. Pluto is in Capricorn and your “me” sector. You are upset about roommates, houseguests, parents, chores, rental contracts, lease agreements, mortgages, housing situations, landscaping or home-improvement projects, retirement planning, a home-based business, or some other home-oriented project or activity. Venus and Pluto rule over all forms of wealth and seduction, so this could be a financial battle or an inability to get someone to change his or her mind. Your roommate, houseguest, or parent is trying to be diplomatic and fair, but you are being really stubborn, passionate, jealous, or suspicious. You may or may not be “right” in this matter, but either way, you need to be careful not to say or do something that you will regret later.
From February 15th through the 16th, Mercury and Jupiter are creating a bit of good luck, business savvy, and fun. Mercury is still in your local community, commerce, and communications sector. Jupiter is still in your playtime, happiness, and luxuries sector. Together, they help you and your neighbors, extended family, and local community members have a great time together. This is a lovely time for local gatherings and play dates. It is also an excellent time for buying, selling, bargain hunting, trading, etc in order to be able to afford concert tickets, luxury items, amusement parks, sporting events, vacations, etc. If you work in a happiness-oriented industry, you could find that business is booming right now.
From February 15th through the 21st, the sun steps into the same location where Mercury used to be when he was helping Neptune and Saturn. Once again, you are encouraged to try to focus on professional and commercial goals, job interviews, written and oral presentations, and community leadership roles.
From February 16th through April 1st, Jupiter and Pluto are working together in a strong and powerful manner. These are two of the Titans of the Zodiac. When they fight, it is awful and when they cooperate with one another, we are all blessed. Pluto rules over trust and sharing; this includes fidelity and various forms of profit sharing. Jupiter rules over knowledge, luck, and global awareness among other things. Pluto is in professional, responsible, and civic-minded Capricorn. Jupiter is in frugal, cautious, and reliable Taurus. They were part of the big ugly planetary mess back in 2009 and 2010 that made it so hard for us to deal with political, cultural, economic, social, corporate, and governmental challenges. Four of the five big planets were involved. These are the first two to begin playing nice together. Globally, we should see strong, smart, cautious economic growth finally begin to take hold. Politically and culturally, people could feel a bit conservative and cautious. That does not necessarily mean they will vote for their country’s “conservative party” but that they will be very mindful of who really does have our long-term financial and economic security in mind. We will not want our leaders making foolish or risky choices. We will look towards companies, governments, and other employers to pay an honest wage for an honest day’s work. That might seem like a no-brainer, but it has been missing from our political leaders for too long. For Capricorn, your “me” sector is getting along quite nicely with your happiness sector. You know, they always say that we Capricorns are a bunch of boring old workaholics. That is just not true. We can play as hard as we work. We just like to make sure that we have taken care of our responsibilities first. Well Capricorn, it is your turn to play, fall in love, vacation, goof off with the kids, paint, sing, dance, laugh, splurge on luxury items, etc. And you know, I have to mention the fact that if you were to turn a favorite hobby or pastime into a business opportunity, you would probably have a great time while succeeding at your goals! Have some fun, you deserve it.
From February 17th through the 18th, Mercury is also working with Pluto. Mercury rules negotiations, intelligence, bargaining, commerce, and contracts. He is in the area of your chart that governs communities, conversations, transportation, and bartering. This is a good time for you to focus on commercial, automotive, communications, electronic, telecommunications, computers, and/or community-oriented projects and activities.
February 21st hosts a new moon in your interpersonal communications, commercial activities, and local community sector. New moons are for beginnings, conceptions, fresh starts, launchings, etc. This new beginning in your life is tied up in the positive energies between Neptune and Saturn. New moons in the community, commerce, and communications sector promote new cars, telephones, computers, transportation routes, etc. They also promote new sales techniques, new writing projects, new communication styles, etc. And they can bring new relatives (birth or marriage?), neighbors, community members, or relocating to a new community. With Saturn’s involvement, your career could really benefit from this new beginning in your life.
From February 21st through the 24th, Mercury is opposing Mars. Mercury is still in your local community, commerce, and communications sector. Mars is still in your long-distance travel, languages, foreigners, cultures, religions, politics, laws, universities, mass media, and global knowledge sector. Debates about staying local versus relocating to another city and arguments involving politics, religions, academics, cultures, cultural differences, etc. are also possible. You could also find that all forms of transportation, communications, education, and cultural philosophies are clashing. With Mercury and Mars involved, this is a smart and passionate debate.
From February 23rd through the 26th, the sun takes his turn working with Jupiter the same way that Venus and Mercury already have. Once again, you are enjoying community activities involving lovers, children, pets, hobbies, creative projects, music, theatre, art, sports, luxuries, vacations, and anything else that would add joy into your life. And again, if you work in one of these happiness industries, sales could be up.
From February 26th through the 29th, the sun shifts focus and begins working with Pluto to help you blend your “me”, “happiness”, and “communities” sectors together is a strong and passionate manner. You are having a wonderful time and you are getting along great with your extended family, neighbors, local community members, children, pets, lovers, etc. It is a good time for having fun and spending time with the people that matter the most in your life. And again, this is a very profitable time if you work in a happiness oriented industry.
From February 29th through March 5th, the sun opposes Mars the same way that Venus and Mercury did. Once again, you are dealing with all forms of transportation, communications, education, and cultural philosophies clashing. Debates about staying local versus relocating to another city and arguments involving politics, religions, academics, cultures, cultural differences, etc. are also possible.
From February 29th through March 6th, Venus is opposing Saturn. Venus is in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, retirement circumstances, and coming home sector. Saturn is in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. When these sectors clash, we usually see battles between mother and father, home and career, privacy and publicity, or between your boss and your roommates. Venus has your mother, roommate, or home life trying to be diplomatic and fair, but your father, boss, or professional goals are being stubborn, depressed, pessimistic, or overly controlling. Do your best to create balance between the two opposing sides.
