September 2010 Monthly Horoscope Forecast

September will be a busy month for you, Cancer. The sun spotlights your 3rd house of thinking, communications, transportation, agreements, local attractions, and relatives. This month may be filled with errands, meetings, and appointments. If you have been feeling overwhelmed or having to spread yourself in several directions, Septembers stars may help to alleviate recent challenges.
The new moon Sept. 8 (also in your 3rd house) delivers two weeks of fresh energy to your communications sector. Cancer’s born within 5 days of July 8 will be influenced most. Whatever you embark on at this new moon will be well underway before this month’s full moon later in September. You have two weeks to sign an agreement, learn something new, or take a quick trip. It’s important to remember that Mercury is retrograde therefore the issues surrounding your circumstances may suggest you reassess your plans or re-evaluate your position somehow. This would be an opportune time for you to rethink your position in a relationship. Old agreements or information may resurface or someone from the past may reach out to you. Connect with siblings or relatives, catch up on emails and paperwork and organize your files.
This is an important month for fine tuning your schedule or putting the finishing touches on an important project. Alternatively, you could be learning a new skill or teaching a course. This would be a good month to take a class or talk to an advisor. Your intuition and your need to communicate effectively will be strong. Transportation issues could be significant now.
Mercury retrogrades in your 3rd house August 20—Sept. 12. Mercury slows its orbit during this phase; as a result you may notice some confusion. Mercury retrograde (in September) makes no stressful aspects to planets in your solar chart which may be favorable for you. That being said, you could experience some aggravation during this time.
Mercury governs transportation, communication, and all things related to the transfer of information. You can expect these areas to be influenced during Mercury’s retrograde. News becomes confusing, transportation may be delayed or complicated, and ideas are asked to be reconsidered. Make yourself clear, read the fine print and do what you can to avoid miscommunication. Items are often lost during this time, so keep your eye on your valuables and important documents. I’ve lost a credit card during Mercury retrograde and my car keys during another retrograde! This is not a time to make important or expensive purchases. You may not use them or they may be flawed. The store shelves may be full of “not so great deals” now. Computers, phones, mail, fax machines, transportation and/or appliances may be annoying or fail to perform properly.
The weeks of Mercury retrograde might cause delays or obstacles, but it’s the best time for increasing your knowledge and bringing important details to your attention, which could be problematic at a later date.
This is not a time to sign papers or make verbal agreements, unless this is something you’ve already had in the works. Rest, relax, rejuvenate, re-write, re-organize, review, re-do, renew, research and re-evaluate. Allow a few days after Mercury turns direct before you proceed with any new ideas, major purchases, contracts or important decisions.
Venus glides harmoniously through your 4th house of home and family until Sept. 8. This transit through your home sector may have brought family closer together or she may have helped you decorate or entertain in your home. The sun enters your home, property and family sector on September 22 at which time you’ll have four weeks to focus on property and family needs.
On Sept. 8, Venus enters your 5th house of love, entertainment, children, hobbies, and creativity. Venus will retrograde in October and will spend the rest of the year in your 5th house of joy! Mars joins Venus in this pleasure center of your chart on Sept. 14 therefore your desire for love, children, or leisure activities may be strong. Relationships heat up when Venus and Mars transit intense Scorpio. Your romantic life will surely see the benefits of this transit! Compulsive behaviors and jealousy are possible now so do your part and compromise when necessary. If you’re willing to step outside of the box, the weeks ahead are favorable for competitions, sports, activities with children, creative endeavors, hobbies and risk taking ventures. Revamp your love life, plan a date night or arrange something special for your partner September 10—11, 16, 21.
Pluto moves forward in your 7th house of important relationships Sept. 13—April 2011. This means that early Cancers with birthdays before June 30 will be feeling Pluto’s transformative energy this year. Cancers born after June 27 will be influenced most beginning Jan. 2011. However, that’s not to say you won’t be experiencing this heavy hitter planet now or in the coming months. You may have other planets in the cardinal signs of your chart that will receive Pluto’s energy. The cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. All of these signs are known as self-starters of the zodiac.
This transit has the power to alter your relationships, Cancer. Important relationships (such as partners and business ties) cannot be ignored during this transit. Hidden truths about a relationship may be revealed during Pluto’s opposition to your sun. There could be power struggles, sudden upheavals, jealously or possessiveness, changes or endings, fear of loss and control issues. The strength of your important relationships will be examined and those that are strong will survive. Be careful of the type of energy you project in your relationships because you will draw that back unto yourself. Pluto’s energy is powerful, although sometimes it influence can be subtle. Pluto can change your domestic situation and what you experience may affect you deeply and emotionally. This transit could manifest in ways that influences your partner, thereby changing your relationship.
The full moon Sept. 23 in your 10th house of career, parenting, authority figures, and reputation culminates now. Cancers born within 5 days of June 22 will be influenced most within two to three days on either side of this lunation. This full moon occurs at the opening degree of Aries which is a sensitive degree in the zodiac. The full moon conjoins Uranus and Jupiter which could result in a surprising opportunity, sudden upset or a reason to act quickly. Cancers are influenced most by full moons because it is your ruler. Full moons tend to effect you emotionally or they can alter your mood.
What surfaces now may concern you, your partner or spouse. The full moon could relate to the health, employment, or schedule of a parental figure, spouse, or child. Alternatively, the full moon may reflect something related to animals in your home, such as a health matter, a bill, or training issue.
This full moon may point to your career or something that you have worked to achieve which may find closure now. A female that lives far from you may surprise you. It might point to a leadership, management, foreign relations, legal or long distance issue.
